They will go out of their way to make sure they help you, whether it is ordering a product you want or cooking you something special to eat. Gret's has a decent selection of drinks and food; they also have pizza and fast food such as burgers and sandwiches. During lunch, they usually have slices of pizza and the usual convenience store food in the hot box. You can get fuel here as well, although it will be on the pricey side as it is 100% gasoline with no ethanol. Inside is rather small and a bit crowded, but for a town with little options, this place will most likely have what you need.

A local family owns and runs Alexander's, the family are legendary for their generosity and kindness. The best secret at Alexander's? The fountain drinks! Best in the panhandle. Two clean restrooms, so if your passing through, check out a place popular with the locals! Don't forget that Alexander's is also a full catering outfit. The employees are usually quite friendly as well. They do have a drive thru, which is convenient. I can say the drive thru is usually way more packed than the inside of the store. They also have an air machine in the parking lot; it's come in handy on a few occasions. My only problem is the parking lot. The pump island is way too close to the parking area at the front of the building. Sometimes it's a real pain to leave because you have people coming into the parking lot and cars leaving the fuel pumps. I've been stuck trying to back out several times, and people won't let you out. It's aggravating. If you can park on the side when it's busy, I'd suggest it.

I come out from the ladies room & Hubby has somehow become best friends with the owner of the gas station in less than five minutes flat. They are having some king of deep philosophical conversation about traffic & new development of the future of Texas, humanity & how he has been so busy, having both registers going at the same time while he is selling tons of his World Famous bean burritos from his little deli. "Burritos? Your selling lots and lots of World famous burritos are ya now?" haha. I am def interested in this conversation also. lol So hubby has this guy making us World famous burritos, he tells us he will make us anything on the menu fresh, made to Order. MTO.
