I stayed for 4 days in January 2020. The good - I had a fabulous corner unit overlooking the beautiful ocean so I got the sunrise and the sunset. The entire hotel is immaculate!! The cleaning staff is constantly cleaning, and it shows. The desk staff are very helpful and professional. The beach is directly across the street. It's a 20 minute walk to town or a 5 minute ride on the Onda (bus stop is directly in front of the hotel). There is also a great restaurant right across the street on the beach.
The bad - the furniture desperately needs updating. The dining table has plastic chairs like you find at the outdoor section of Home Depot. The small sofa was like sitting on a rock and was only 5 feet long so you couldn't really relax. There was no lighting in the dining area. One small wall sconce lights the area. The bed was HORRIBLE!! The mattresses are old, hard and cheap. You can feel the springs. The base creaked every time I rolled over. I never got a good night's sleep. And, since there is no television in the bedroom, you can't fall asleep watching a movie. read more
