This mall's management is a JOKE! The security are rude and barely speak English! Every time I come here I have a horrible experience. I once saw a cockroach running across the hallway, tourists had to walk and jump around it as it was HUGE and disgusting. There are BARELY any seating throughout the mall unless you pay $5 for a massage chair and BARELY any parking. They are building a parking garage which will be a huge relief when its completed. I like the stores inside the mall and the deals are great! However, everyone that runs this place is a joke. The police officers are so bored they chase down people driving through the parking lot lanes and write tickets to everyone! They have normal vehicles with cameras mounted on them, scanning the thousands of parked cars and give out hundreds of citations to people as they shop inside. I have witness all of this while smoking a cigarette. I was once leaving late from watching a movie and a loser Sweetwater dolphin mall police officer was hiding at the exit of the mall, behind a stop sign. He was clearly visible to me as I stopped at the stop sign. I looked at him and he was looking at his laptop and not even paying attention. As I approached the next intersection awaiting a red light, a car ate the stop sign and the police officer went ahead and started to pull out where he was waiting. The car that ate the stop sign went started to drive away WHILE THE POLICE OFFER PULLED BEHIND ME. And yes, I couldn't believe it... HE PULLED ME OVER. I had to convince him that he got the wrong guy. I even told him he was too busy looking at his laptop. Dolphin Mall brings in people from all over the world. It is no doubt that this property is a money making machine. I'm sure my review will be nothing to them and that's okay. But I will write one anyway. Where do I begin? Oh ok, let's start at the beginning of the crap that is Dolphin Mall... Some Miami pieces of shts broke into my boyfriends car once and stole his backpack. Where was security at that time? Overcrowded and chock full of unsavory characters you won't find anywhere else. Estoy de acuerdo con lo de que el dolphin mall es un mal necesario. Si bien su ubicación es adecuada y se LLENA de gente, su tamaño y oferta es variada y correcta. A mi entender, habiendo ido a otros centros similares en Florida y en las cercanías de Miami, Dolphin no tiene nada superior a otros como Sawgrass o Aventura. Si bien se publicitan como los grandes outlets los precios no difieren mucho de otros en la ciudad donde uno puede moverse más tranquilo. Why do I come here, simple there is a bar outside and you can walk around with your drink! There is also a Dave and Busters, a ton of stores, but you see the most random things here and at every mall in Miami. Tourists. So, we were shopping at Dolphin Mall this past evening and had a problem in the parking lot with some kids. We sent one of our group into the mall to try to get mall security. He went to the office and the woman there (who refused later to give her name) said that the mall does not baby sit us and we are on our own. I realize it was late and they probably wanted to go home but it was sad that no one was there to help. Stores for the most part are good. The only store i recommend you to stay completely away from Boycott is OLD NAVY. I worked at this place and the treatment of employees is extremely bad. Crowded and noisy, filled with rude people, smoke, vaping, and individuals walking around drinking. Children are allowed to roam freely, run, and sometimes knock people over. These situation has not improved despite multiple visits. I even witnessed people smoking vape in the halls, which is not an environment I would want my children exposed to. I thoroughly enjoyed my visit to Dolphin Mall. This was my second visit. My first visit was in the early 2000s. At that time they didn't have as many stores and Yelp didn't exist. But post covid, the people are outside and shopping. There were so many stores to choose from and I enjoyed every store I went to. I also ate some good Indian food at the food court. Visited this place while I was down in Miami and parking is horrible but the parking garage is better than parking directly in front of the mall. There is such a huge variety of stores which I loved but it was so over crowded (I guess it's the most popular mall in Miami) The food court was my favorite, so many food options I couldn't get enough! but then the huge walk back to the car made me regret all the delicious food I ate. read more
