I had an unexpected home birth in my bed and ended up getting a huge amount of blood soaked through all of our duvet, duvet cover, and sheets. We thought they were all garbage, but our family convinced us to call Stephen Cleaners to see if there was any way they could be recovered. We were anxious and a bit embarrassed to even inquire about the cleaning, but the staff on the phone were so understanding and friendly. They told us to bring our items in and that they'd do their best to get the blood out. Incredibly, when we picked up our bedding a week later, they were perfectly cleaned -- Not a trace of blood stain anywhere! These guys have a few different locations but they're all listed under the umbrella name Green Fine Dry Cleaners. If you live in Edmonton, you have to drop off your dress at their Edmonton location and they send it to Calgary for cleaning. Once the dress is cleaned they send it back to the Edmonton shop where you can pick it up. Overall they did a fabulous job cleaning my dress and the service was friendly during drop-off and pickup. The only thing is their Edmonton location is only open on certain weekday mornings so it was a little inconvenient for us. Other than that, we were happy with the service and results. My dress came back clean and in a large white box with a window in it, so it looks like it's encased in a frame and you can admire it without actually opening the box. One less thing to worry about post-wedding, whew!
