I had lost faith in my former dentist and hygienist and knew I should make a change. I called found Florida Smile in Google and liked the ad and the ratings of course. I called for a prompt appointment and was treated so courteously. I needed work immediately becase and 30 year root canal had gotten infected and needed to come out....now! They explained that the implant and crown solution was the best thing for me. They took time to explain the entire process before pricing. This procedure requires several weeks and all of this explained. Dr. Burak came in, sat down and smiled and introduced himself simply as Burak, like a family member. All the young ladies are so lovely, professional, caring. It is a truly an international bunch! You can practice English of course, Spanish, Polish, Portuguese, Hungarian and Dr. Burak's Turkish! Many times being able to speak your language is comforting in the dentist's office. As far as the cleanings are concerned, Gina took her time and did a thorough job. I enjoyed the fact that she had comforting words throughout the procedure to keep you mind off what is going on in your mouth! Lotte is such a sweetheart and very professional when it comes to the financial end. I am mentioning last and least that the Smile Studio offers extremely quality work so expect to remunerate them fairly for the outstanding work of art which they perform. My last comment is--Are you worthy of being a patient of theirs? I am sure you are and your smile will thank you, giving you the confidence you need in your life.

My coordinator, James Smith was very helpful explaining the process and assured me a wonderful outcome. Surgery was booked for six weeks later. I was very surprised on surgery day that my surgeon was a woman and not Dr.Taskonak. All the reviews I read were about Dr.Taskonak and they were stellar. I knew nothing about this woman. Two days following my surgery I was taken by ambulance to the hospital with a bacterial infection directly caused the surgery. I spent six days hospitalized and miserable. The dental practice assumed no responsibility for this. Since my surgery it has been nothing short of a nightmare. I went through three sets of temporary teeth due to breakage and chipping. Screws and fillings continued to fall out. Once receiving my permanent teeth, they are improperly fitted, (too narrow) for my mouth, they are missing my rear molars and extremely painful. Dr.Taskonak examined my mouth and agreed these are incorrectly fitted and has ordered a new set of permanent teeth for me. Due to internal problems with the dental practice and the corporation that owns it, my new teeth are on hold, indefinitely. The office staff has cancelled my appointments while telling me lies. They are holding my teeth hostage, which I paid for in full and this has become one of the worst decisions I have ever made. May I strongly suggest you do your research before going here or any implant center. I am now in excruciating pain on a daily basis and very upset with my outcome.

I had gone to my other dentist two weeks prior and he didn't notice them. Dr Yap takes time to explain everything including the costs and his equipment seems to be state of the art. I recommend the VIP membership because you pay a flat fee and it covers the cleanings, x-rays, dentist consults and even gives discounts on the work. Bring your own headphones during procedures unless you like 80's music.

Hooray! The company I now work with offers an affordable PPO plan and I'm back! Well, to the practice but they're in a brand-new state-of-the-art office in east Davie. It was the best experience! Carolina at the front desk was efficient and sweet, veteran Janna was exactly as I remembered her: professional, patient, and kind. Dr. Barry Bluth was the gentle giant that I remembered, and veteran Kelly was thorough and so helpful at checkout.
