This place gets tons of traffic here so I decided to come here on the last day of the year to get the car cleaned and all the salt off. Lines aren't too bad but I went for the basic express plus wash for 6 bucks which isn't bad. They don't seem to care about pick up trucks either which is hard to find. I will say my complaint here are the vaccuums, they absolutely "suck" at "sucking" and they fall apart easily. It's also highly advised to vsccuum the car first and then get your car washed. read more

Does not do hand car wash. Not recommended. Very irresponsible and stubborn to deal with. read more

Stopped in for a full car wash. Price to performance was great. The gentleman who cleaned the interior found my missing ear pods but put them in a covered area so I wasn't able to thank him before I left. The mat washing had them looking brand new and the overall look of the car was positively noticeable. Unfortunately there are a few negatives to go with my experience. The window cleaning and overall wipe down of the exterior left a lot to be desired. Prior to leaving I had to ask my technician to re-dry the vehicle as there was a lot of water still on it. You don't get the airbrushed treatment at this point. The biggest concern is that the technician broke a part in my car while cleaning and did not let me know. He placed the broken part next to my ear pods (in the same covered area). Again, I didn't know the items were there until a day later. Now I have no idea what or where the part came from. In the end... would I go back? Probably. The price is very reasonable for a works car wash. Will I be more watchful during subsequent trips? Absolutely. read more

Came to the Joliet facility because the Morris one was the absolute worst. These guys are no better. No to mention I have two brand new lovely scratches on my door. I wouldn't even give them 1 star if that was possible. read more

If i could leave negative start i would very terrible customer service. I came in sept and as i was going thru the car wash i heard a loud noise as soon as it came out i seen my side view mirror was gone. I told they guys and they tried to tell me that it was already broken.. why the **** would i go into a carwash with my side mirror broken!? VERY disrespectful tried to blame me and didn't even apologize save your money and go somewhere else read more

I paid $21 for an exterior wash, an interior cleaning, wheel cleaning, and an extra $4 for floor mat cleaning. After putting the tip in the box, I got in my car and noticed all the things they missed: dirty console, cup holders not wiped out, seats that hadn't been vacuumed, dust on the edges of the doors, and streaked windows. I asked one of the guys returning to the building to come back and take care of these things, He returned and wiped off the top of the console, ignored the rest of my requests, and started back into the building. I called him again. He kept going. Taking the rag and the spray, I finished the interior myself. I tried to call the manager by phone to tell him how his employees handled my job. He never picked up. Because I was still in the area and I know how important customer service is for small businesses, I decided to stop by and talk to him in person so he'd know about this and could better monitor his employees. Turns out the manager was the same guy who wiped my console and neglected the rest of the interior. After listening to my concerns, he told me that I received adequate service and implied $25 was not enough money to have the interior thoroughly cleaned. Shoddy service and a manager who told me the $25 dollars I paid for the car wash was not enough money to get all those things taken care of...I will never go back. read more

It's Saturday. I need a car wash. I figured I would give dolphin a try. I regretted it the moment I left. It was $21 for an outside inside wash with a 48 hour guarantee. Ok. I can accept that because you are cleaning out the inside. They did not though. They didn't clean the interior glass and I don't think they vacuumed. I won't go back. It was not very good at all. read more

Paid $16 for the basic full service wash last week. Windows were not cleaned well, sideview mirrors were still water spotted and bird droppings were still on the car. How can you hand dry a car and not discover that it's still dirty? Won't ever go back....... read more

Express wax was done today. The wash was quick; the wax was applied with an orbital. I was out of there in 30 min or so. Good work for the price. Staff seems to know what they are doing, and are professional. Some times you drive into a car wash, and it looks like a mess and drive right out of there. Didn't experience this here. read more

I have been going to Dolphin since 1999. At that time it was a Turtle Wax Car Wash and the service was beyond fantastic. Since the place switched from Turtle Wax to Dolphin the service has steadily gone down hill. I had my car detailed there last year. I had to have them do it 3 times and it was still dirty. Reallly? I always buy the platinum wash and I always have to ask for a towel and show the knuckleheads how to properly dry a vehicle. The owner has hired the fattest and laziest young men known to mankind who work with zero enthusiasm or urgency with little to no social skills. Today was the last time I will drive onto their property. The service was so bad today I had to go to yelp and vent! STAY AWAY FROM DOLPHIN CAR WASH! read more

I went to Dolphin car wash today because it was convenient. what a mistake!!! I chose the $15.00 wash so it would be done completely but what I got was a $3.00 gas station wash. Not even that good. Save your money and go somewhere else!I am giving it 1 star because I can't post this review without it.Does not deserve it! read more

My experience here was extremely pleasant and they did a fantstic job. I'll return. Fast and friendly.

Well I gave this place a second shot my first visit with this place I did a 50.00 wash with a detail inside and it was decent but they lost my passengers front Matt witch it sucks so they gave me a platinum wash coupon for the inconvenience.. on the second car wash well lets say its definitely not worth 25 dollars my windows were still dirty vacuum guy didn't do a great job either on vacuuming the floors and I was ready to tip 5 bucks on something that should of been tipped 3 dollars but since they screwed up again a dollar tip all i gave them to be honest they didn't deserve that. Josh the manger wanted to comendate me again witch this time I denied... read more

Saturday morning I pull in for a wash and it's open only to hand washing because the automatic wash was broken and they were waiting for repairman. No biggy- it happens. Came back on Monday and got in line for a wash. Cars in parking lot and parked all around building but no one came out so I called. Low and behold BROKE DOWN AGAIN. This time it was computer issues. At least in Saturday they put out a white board letting you know so you didn't sit wasting time waiting. No sign on door, no white board. Talked to Josh who couldn't keep his story straight. The guy continued to change his story and couldn't keep his bullshit lies straight. Sorry excuse for an employee. Didn't have the guts to admit he was caught in his own lies. Save your time and gas - they are broken down more than open. Employees will lie to you when asked for a straight answer. read more

I stopped in today for the first time. I did their interior and exterior wash. I will never go back. I don't think they vacuumed at all. They did not wipe the seats or clean the floor mats. $39. It's s rip off. read more

I will never come back to this location! Don't waste your money or your time. I got the Premium wash which was to include floor mats cleaned, interior wipe down, tire shine, vacuum and hand dry. There was one other car there so it was not busy at all and there were two guys "cleaning" my car. When I got in it the weather tech floor mats had puddles of water in the corners and were so wet that they were sheets of ice because of the cold weather. The back floor mats were not cleaned or vacuumed. Dash was not wiped down, bumper was still dirty and the tires were wiped dry but no tire shine on them. I spent 30.00 and I don't even have a clean car and I have sheets of ice for floor mats. The manager offered for me to come back and they will try again, but I am so disgusted with the place that I will never step foot in that door again and I would never suggest going here either. Never again! read more

I took my car to Dolphin Car Wash for a detailing that I purchase online. They did a fantastic job and my car definitely had that new car feeling again. I would recommend their full service detail. read more

I have had my car washed at Dolphin several times and they always do a great job inside and out! It has been a long time since I've had my car washed at all, and, recently, my wife brought my car there to surprise me with a full service detail. My 7 year old car looked like it did when I drove it off the dealer's lot. They completely removed the smoke smell and my wife's make-up marks on the passenger side mirror along with everything else looking great. My rims were chrome again and I almost forgot my car was white originally. They really did an amazing job! When my wife told me where she had it done, I had to call the manager (who I think was the owner) and compliment them on the job they had done! Joliet is not very close to my home, but it's worth the drive! read more

I used to go here all the time. ..been awhile and was by the mall...so stopped in. I got a $25 wash.....was so disappointed. My doors where not wiped off, center console not cleaned, or leather seats wiped off. Vacuuming was not done good. Had car matt's cleaned and they just put them in car and did not lock them in place. read more

I went there today and paid for the $21.00 ultimate wash. Such a waste of money. The price board lists a long list of all the services "ultimate" wash provides, i.e. Wheel cleaning, interior scent, ect. However, my tires were still dirty, the workers cleaning the inside of the car were unamused and careless, and it was not what I paid $21 for. Will not be returning. Waste of money. Save yourself the frustration and just do it yourself. read more

Spent $45 on a wash and interior cleaning, only because I didn't have the time to do it myself. Worst waste of $45! Not even 24 hours later, you can see the streaks in the windows, front end wasn't wiped down, the car just looked like shit. The management needs to coach these kids on how to clean and care for vehicles. My kids do a better job cleaning the house, and they only get $2 per chore! I do NOT recommend this car wash! Don't waste your time or your money. read more

I got the platinum full service car wash with interior cleaning and all the extras. It took a bit and they didn't pull the matts out to wash them even though we paid for it. They also did something bad to the car because when I dropped it off for them to do the interior clean, my car's check engine light was off but when I got back into it (and after they had moved it) the check engine light was on. The kids cleaning the car couldn't remember when the light came on. The "manager" told me it was probably because my gas cap wasn't on correctly (I didn't get gas there). Never going back, they took zero responsibility and told me to take it to the dealer. A $65 car wash shouldn't result in a few hundred dollars worth of repairs. read more

PROTECT YOUR CAR !! DO NOT USE!!! They will damage you car & take NO responsibility or ownership. They compared it to going to McDonald's drive thru . If my car got damage in McDonalds drive would I expect McDonalds to pay it ???? I wasn't ordering fries I was getting my my car washed !! Zero costumer service !! PROTECT YOUR CAR !!! DO NOT USE!!! read more

Terrible service! I wish I would've read all of these bad reviews before I went there but I was in a hurry. This place used to do a good job a few years ago but I was told by one of the employees the manager wants to cut corners. You have to scroll down the reviews to 2014 to find a good one. After paying for the $25 wash I thought I would have a good wash - save your money! The floor mats were cleaned but the windows were not, and the dash was not even wiped off. There is a place in Bolingbrook close to my work called Vic's Express Car Wash. They do an excellent job!! I recommend Vic's. read more

After receiving my Ultimate Wash I agree with some other reviews, inside dash board full of dust, exterior looks like it was not even towel dried. I was inside and did not watch. I blame this on the young people that are working there, they act like they don't even care to be there and also the upper management for allowing this to go on. read more

There Joliet location broke down and spayed hydraulic fluid all over my car. They them tried to hand wash it with a hard sponge and a degreaser that cause a lot of damage to my cars paint scratches and swirl marks I had to take my car to a professional detail shop to be buffed out and also had to have a body shop repaint my back bumper.. I would steer clear of this place as they will ruin your car. My total damage was almost $500 dollars. They tried to offer me $150 in car wash credit for my damage. I wouldn't let this place wash my dog let alone ever touch my car again read more

Customer service was bad, you can hear the workers cursing from the tunnel, they do a bad job of wiping down rims, it is not a family establishment as the workers do not know how to watch their mouths or keep it down for that matter. The bathrooms have pee and a weird red stain on the toiletry area. Overall, not a place I would like to visit again. read more

Terrible place . Every time I leave there, there are always things that are dirty. Windows , bumpers , inside moldings and a lot of item in the outside. It's towel dried so there should not be a problem. I gave them 3 chances and every time same thing. On top of it there pricey for the quality they give you. read more

I went to Dolphin Car Wash in Joliet,Il. and purchased the premium wash with a $5 tip for a total of $30 for a car wash on my 2012 VW Passat. My car is in near mint condition and garage kept. When I got home I noticed the top of my car had 6 scratches next to each other from the car wash brushes. I called and talked to Autumn and set up an appointment to meet with her. She gave me every excuse to why it wasn't the car washes fault.. Like I put something on top of the car and dragged it across it, Which I would never, never do. The scratches are from side to side and Autumn said they are trained to dry from front to back of the car. Give me a break. So bottom line if you don't want your car F****D UP don't go to Dolphin Car Wash. Because they don't give a shit about your car when they damage it!!! read more

Paid for wash, wax, tires, rims, windows inside/out and carpet shampoo. They were done in 20 minutes with everything. Never coming back even if it was free. read more

Won't go back. Did not get what we paid for! Wax was. Broken but they where still charging for it. Had to ask to get Windows wiped and they did a crappy job drying out truck. We paid like 19.00. Could of gone to the 3.00 car wash for the same thing. read more

Poor management. Or at least that is what I suspect. The washing equipment broke down while my car was in the car wash. No one told me what was going on or apologized for the delay.
