If you are looking for awesome senior photos with the utmost creativity, Chris has the eye for it! I also have mine and all of my management team and board members' headshots done by the Ace team and it has really freshened up our website and LinkedIn profiles. Ace created two beautiful commercials for my nonprofit that we get so much great feedback from. I can't say enough about Kurt, Chris, and their entire crew. They put so much passion and expertise into everything they do! They even all came out on a super hot Saturday to support our fundraising event! I've watched them work their magic for so many of their clients, many of whom are personal friends of mine, and I've always been impressed by their professionalism, creativity, and heart. As a Reno-based, family-owned studio, they truly embody what it means to give back to the community and uplift those they work with. I've now had the honor of modeling in two of their photo shoots, and each time I was blown away by the care, kindness, and encouragement they showed. I hadn't modeled in a while and was honestly a bit nervous, but they made me feel comfortable, confident, and celebrated every step of the way. Ace Studios has a way of seeing the best in people and bringing it out on camera--and that's a rare gift. I'm so grateful for the opportunity to collaborate with them, and I'm already hoping they'll ask me back again! Highly recommend them for photography, branding, and creative work of all kinds. They are truly a Reno treasure. -- AboutTownDeb

You'd think Reno wouldn't have a lot of opportunity for talent, but you'd be surprised! Tru Talent…read moreAgency represents models, actors, musicians and even voice over talent. My daughter has been signed with Tru Talent Agency in Reno for a couple years now and has had a wonderful experience with them. She is only ten, but Tru Talent has booked her for a magazine shoot, a (very well payed) marketing shoot at a Tahoe resort, as well as a lead for a 52 showing musical at a local casino over the holidays this year. We've seen several of her friends her age that have had similar luck with this agency the past couple years. One of her friends was recently on a LOT of billboards in town. Others are on multi-media ad campaigns for a local water park. A couple of her friends have filmed toy commercials we see on cable all the time. She even has a couple friends her age that got spots in movies recently. Yet another of her friends has done fashion modeling for a high end designer. These are just kids her age and what I've seen over the last couple years. However, there are a lot of adults that are signed that we know too. We see a lot of them in local print and commercial work. One of the cool things about Tru Talent agency, is that you can check their Facebook page and see the talent that gets signed each week and what they are doing. It's a team community where that talent cheers each other on, and it's comforting to see the amount of jobs coming through, as a client. This transparency allows talent to see how many bookings are happening each week, and get a realistic expectation of job prospects. My daughter is also signed with a well known talent agency in LA and has been for about five years or so. I can say I am impressed with the professionalism, kindness, and amount of opportunities my daughter gets for auditions with Tru Talent Agency in Reno. Both agencies are on the same casting sites online and operate in the same fashion from what we've seen. It has been nice to be able to see the similarities. Additionally, if they submit you for a self-tape audition, they will assist you with the self-tape. That's really a BIG help for talent! Other important things to know: First, you do not pay anything if you are lucky enough to get signed. They ONLY get a percentage IF you are booked for a job. Please beware that you should NEVER have to pay a dime if you are signed with a talent agency! Your talent agent only makes money if YOU make money. Secondly, this agency does not sign just anyone. They don't want to waste their time if they don't feel like you are going to be marketable. If you are trying to get signed, you need to show them you are marketable! Lastly, Tru Talent Agency in Reno is not affiliated in any way whatsoever with the similarly named business in Las Vegas.
