Rien Ne Va Plus has all sorts of strange things, from puzzle maps of Zurich (I was close to buying it but for 30 CHF it was kinda steep, and I still haven't put my world map puzzle together from Barnes and Noble), to music, board games, gag gifts, bouncy balls, stickers- stuff both adults and children would like. This is a fairly targeted place, though --- there's no kiddie-shelf of jigsaw puzzles like some hobby stores. You're better off at Franz Carl Weber for games and toys.

My partner and I are really disappointed with our recent experience ordering from Kaboom…read more We pre-ordered product from the Magic the Gathering Final Fantasy set well in advance, specifically choosing Kaboom because it's a brick-and-mortar LGS. Supporting local game stores matters to us -- even when it means paying slightly more than from online retailers. Unfortunately, our order was cancelled less than two weeks from launch day, with the explanation that Kaboom weren't receiving their guaranteed allocation. It has taken 12 days for the refund to clear, which has left us significantly out of pocket, with no opportunity to secure the product elsewhere without paying grossly inflated prices. If you couldn't guarantee the product, you should not have allocated it for pre-order. At the time you cancelled the order, every other LGS in the country had already sold out. I understand that distribution problems happen. But our agreement was with you. Not with WoTC, not with your distributor, or your suppliers. The timing of the cancellation, and the delay in processing the refund, were solely your responsibility -- and they've left us feeling let down and frustrated. We wanted to support a local business. Instead, we're walking away disappointed,without what we ordered, and instead of being excited on release day, we're now very sad with no new product to open. Regardless of your LGS status, we won't be ordering from you again. You've really let us down.
