We were…read morebrowsing clothing and such in the few stores they have left and out of no where two security guards showed up out of no where. They never once approached us or said anything to us. They followed us from one store to the next. We were not doing anything wrong and the only reason I can think of as to why they were profiling us is because my husband has ADHD and possibly autism, which makes him very hyper and sometimes clumsy. I feel like they were being discriminatory towards us due to my husbands hyper active behaviour or they were racist and automatically assumed that because we are native american that we must be shop lifting. Regardless of their reasoning it was very disappointing that these security guards were wasting time following us around under the assumption that we were going to shop lift instead of actually paying attention to other individuals that were more than likely shoplifting because the security guards were so focused on us and completely oblivious to what else was going on around them. I would like to warn any native americans planning on shopping here of the racial profiling that you may go through as well as any hyper active adhd individuals of being profiled as well. Get it together Heritage Mall, you cannot afford to lose customers or business. So inform your security guards not to follow your customers around for no reason trying to find a reason to justify their actions. Due to this negative interaction I choose to take my business else where and will try to pass on this experience to all friends and family so that they do not have to go through what we did today.

We usually dont know where we're traveling on our shift until the very last minute. In my case, it was Owen Sound which is a guaranteed hotel visit. I had no toiletries on hand so, my plan was to stop by this Walmart to grab them... big mistake that was. This is what happened: I was in the toothpaste aisle browsing at the different brands and prices on the shelves. A short older lady dressed in all blue Walmart attire (who looked like she had some type of status) stopped at the main entry of the aisle with an electronic notepad or scanner in her hand. She stood there for more then 15 seconds and was typing something. She eventually walked away. Before I had the chance to pick the toothpaste that I wanted to *purchase,* another female employee walks into the aisle from the opposite end, closer to where I was standing. She stood there with a pen and a piece of brown paper in hand, just glaring at the toothpaste. I looked directly at her trying to make eye contact. She just stood there and didn't even ask if I needed help or even gave me a fake smile just to make me feel more at ease. She walked away after probably realizing that she wasn't doing anything to justify her position. I picked up a random toothpaste as quickly as possible and threw it into the blue basket I was carrying. As I turned to walk towards the main hallway, she walked by AGAIN looking towards me. When we made eye contact she quickly turned he head as if to say "damn I've been made." By this time I'm fuming, I walked out, and she quickly walked into another section so I wouldn't see her. When I stood in line waiting to buy my things, the cashier was eyeing me up and down making me want to drop my things and walk out... but I needed them. This type of behavior is really sad to observe and very unfortunate that the first thing against me is the color of my skin. I'm not a thief and I was raised with a silver spoon in my mouth. Did they really think that I would steal something dressed in my work "uniform?" Let's be realistic here. Owen Sound is predominantly inhabited by retired caucasians. So obviously if they see a black Male, they'd get excited. I called the store to speak to a manager but I hung up. I'd rather post this for everyone to see. I will also let all of my coworkers know to never shop at Walmart Owen Sound. You Walmart employees are flat out racist.

After I said that is false, I walked back down and both an employee and the manager could see it was in fact priced at $11.49. The manager then tells me that they would only honour 1 of the lures at $11.49. I then wanted to buy a single unit of another mispriced item which i noticed before the store did and was refused the right to purchase it for the listed price. Canadian tire is a participant of the scanner price accuracy code from the retail council. This means Canadian tire should have offered me $10 off the correct price since the item was over $10. I did not want to write this review but I felt that the manager had an attitude like I was stealing from them or something. Why was I not allowed to purchase the second different item as I asked to purchase it before they noticed? This is pretty upsetting considering how much money I spend at this location every year. At the end of the day, they made multiple mistakes, wasted my time, and give me attitude over a few bucks.

Hi , I have made the biggest mistake of my life when I walked through the doors of Leon. On October…read morethe 8 th I had a stove delivered by Leon's. As the 2 young boys were delivering the stove the one boy slipped and dropped the stove on my brand new plank flooring. I had one of the delivery boys take a picture of the damage and it was given to the head of the customer complaints department , I was told to get a estimate on the cost of replacing the floor, so I went to Greyfair flooring and they came to my home and gave me a estimate in writing as I was asked to do by customer complaints. Well they did not like the estimate so they told me that they would just repair the damage to my floor. weeks went by and a person came to my door and told me he was sent by Leons to repair my floor, after spending about a hour he said to me that he had never tried to repair a plank floor and he was going to get someone who could help him by this time my floor was total mess. He never returned to my home and when I called Leon's all they would say was they were working on it. It is now Dec 13 th and everytime I call I am told they are working on it and as I was as long they say they are working on it there is nothing I can do about it. I asked them if they could hire someone else no the guy who has never been back is working on it ha ha . I am a 74 year old senior and on CPP and can not afford to pay to replace the floor , this is a dirty trick to pull on some they know cannot afford a lawyer and I am at the point of a nervous breakdown over this mess .I don't know what to do or who to turn to . I even sent a message to Leon's head office and have never received a response from them. If someone out there can help me I would appreciate it greatly. To anyone reading this take warning if you care for your home do not buy anything from them and for heavens sake don't let them deliver anything to your home!!! I can just imagine what would happen if something you bought from them malfunctioned it could take years to get it replaced because they would tell you that they were working on it.
