I have suggested to the manager that employees don't wear cologne, scented hand cream, etc. so that it's easier to tell if the furniture has fragrance in it. I know that it is cheaper to buy from suppliers, yet many times I need a small amount and I know where to go, Today, we were served again by a former Dalhousie graduate from the costuming studies department. She was efficient, courteous and very informative. If they don't have what you are looking for, rest assured, they will go to great lengths to find it for you in one of their other stores or in the warehouse. Compared to their competition, which is not an equal by any means, they are far superior in customer service and customer satisfaction. We usually buy entire bolts, rather than small amounts, yet it is not a problem. There is always something to be found that is of interest and there are usually hidden treasures among the bolts. Wish that there was a store in Halifax, although I will happily go to Dartmouth or even Truro to experience excellent customer service and a great selection of products. Once a customer, always a customer. Here, the customer is Queen or king, which is an old philosophy, yet one that still rings true.
