All kinds of birthday cards for husband, brother, son, daughter, sister in law, mother, father, wife, sympathy, sympathy for loss of animal..need I say more?!? While there since this is a new location here in Fernandina I walked around in maybe 25% of the store and found ribbon I can use and 2pkg of Super Glue. Beware - sometimes the quality on some items are not going to last long term, but other items can last longer than one may expect. The staff at this location range from friendly to just good enough to get the job done. I was surprised the manager was more concerned with her smoke break than assisting a fellow employee, as a customer who witnessed this I was .... Shall I say annoyed?! Always a good day to save money especially at DG. I have shopped at this location numerous times…read moreand they always seem to have plenty of stock and the employees are very helpfull. I do like that DG has the digital coupons so I dont need to mess around with clipping and looking for the coupons. This store usually has everything in stock that matches the coupons even the good stuff that everyone wants. The one bad thing about this store is that it's a bit cramped up. Its tight in here. All DG's try to squeeze as much as possible into a small area but this store in itself is small so they have really gone above and beyond in the creativity of stocking to get stuff in here. It's like the airplane passenger that wore 4 outfits to avoid baggage overweight. That's this store. If you go thru too fast you will miss something. In conclusion if you go in for toilet paper and bread your fine, anything else, be prepared to spend sometime cause your heads gonna swirl.

Right now they read up to 30% off. But most items -- except a few areas -- are currently 10% off. We decided to pop in and do a quick look to see if there was anything we couldn't live without. The liquidators haven't really descended so things haven't been marked up just to be marked down. And yes, we did find a few "bargains" that were worth buying. Like everywhere, however, you have to know what the "regular" prices would have been... As in our local stores, they will be offering heavier discounts here soon. But if you're interested in something specific, come now. We were surprised how fast our south Florida stores were closed.

This location has a fresh food area and a huge frozen and chilled food area. They also have some unique chips and things that I have never seen in other stores. Definitely not always the cheaper route to go and I would not do a big shop at DG, but it's a great run in place for last minute items.
