But this store is clean, has fun non-food items, cheesy slogans, great produce and real bargains! You need to learn the system. They have some foods on a regular basis but other items are added as they get them. You can't get other things-like big heavy garbage bags. And finding where bags are located was an aerobic adventure! They may not have what your looking for but what you find can become a new fav. But like Kim G said if Grocery Outlet in another town, Watch expiration dates! I never thought to check but found some can be close! But salads and some produce have been good. For some reason they have better russet potatoes and they had broccoli that tasted picked out of the field! Who knew?? It's close, it's cheap, but I just don't plan on doing my entire grocery shopping here. I do recommend trying Grocery Outlet and will be back!

My problem with dollar stores in general is the amount of plastic and cheap products made in other than the US brought in on an endless run of container ships. I tell him I just need some plastic food containers and he doesn't tell me where I can find them, but he does "escort" me over to where they are located. In the end they did not have the style of container I needed, and I ended up going to the Dollar Tree and buying them instead. After all that fun at Dollar General I am surprised that I wasn't told to take my pants off. My pants had some nice large side pockets, something that easily could have stashed some nice items! Anyway, I will stay FAR away from Dollar General since they treat new customers like crooks!

The owner and people who work there are very nice and customer service is over the top. As with any discount store, they never know what they are going to get. Some of the items they carry are odds and ends, like scotch, tape, water, bottles,and lightbulbs. Some of my great finds include Barilla protein pasta ($1/box), Zevia (clear soda with Stevia, not sugar), Quest protein cookies/bars, Quaker sour cream and Onion rice cakes (.50), Premiere Protein Breakfast cereal and k cups. Some of the items are outdated so if that makes you leery, this is probably not the place for you but some things are within 30 days of being outdated, and it is priced for quick sale and consumption. This is a great place especially with food prices and for families who struggle with food insecurity. Me, I just like to find high quality items for a bargain :). Check it out, you won't be sorry.

This GO is in a good location and is a large building. Grocery Outlet is definitely a place to try if you've never been to one. They take inventory from stores or businesses that are overstocked or have items that aren't moving. The prices are generally much better than a regular grocery store but HINT-watch use by and sell by dates. They can be sooner than regular stores. #ThankYouThursday

Roy and Lisa were a pleasure to talk to and we took a gander on their $50 mystery boxes. The store experience was 5 stars, the mystery boxes about a 3.5 stars. You definitely get $50 worth of items, but a few items are either opened or not labeled so you'll have to google lens it to figure out its use. You'll definitely get a variety of items half of which you might be able to use. Was pleasantly surprised to find a solid thermos, Henckels cutting board, culinary chef smoothie maker machine and egg crates and a good 50 pack of Hanes cloth face masks that will be good for shop cloths. You will take a gamble on the mystery box as it seems like there's odds and ends of which you would most likely find in the discount bin not necessarily on the shelf. This will become a regular stop on my travels to Oregon as they will always have rotating stock and new discount items.
