This GO is in a good location and is a large building. Grocery Outlet is definitely a place to try if you've never been to one. They take inventory from stores or businesses that are overstocked or have items that aren't moving. The prices are generally much better than a regular grocery store but HINT-watch use by and sell by dates. They can be sooner than regular stores. #ThankYouThursday

The store had a strong smell, like someone had soiled themselves. It was particularly strong by the athletic clothes and didn't fade the whole time I was there. There was decent selection here but I was hoping it would be bigger being the only Goodwill in town. It was surprisingly small and the prices weren't great even with the color tag sales. The people were friendly and were working hard. I would stop back here if I'm back in town but would hope it smells better.

A month after scheduling an interview...I showed up for an interview only to find out it was NOT an interview. Prior to the interview, I had spoken to other employees who said they were ready to quit before I walked in (now I see why).....Hiring manager (1) seem's very similar to a Hiring manager in Springfield/Eugugene who was fired between 2010-2013 for preying on applicants (I.e. if a hot girl applied for a job, he would have her "shadow"/work with him personally for a few weeks to see how "she did"....only for her to later find out she was never hired. When he was later confronted he admitted to "liking them" and "hoping" it would encourage the women to date him.....Multiple women were victimized, houses broken into, kidnapped/raped etc....This was such a prolific operation that the University of Oregon began implementing "employment application and interview" trainings to minimize the number of targeted individuals and to help individuals recognize the signs and avoid those scenarios.... (2) I came in for a prescheduled interview...only to be told it was NOT an interview, but an opportunity for him to get to know me and then he would later decide if I would be given an opportunity to interview....(every red flag in the book)... he was overall less interested in reviewing my background, and more interested in knowing what I was doing that weekend, in my free time, etc (3) When confronted and reminded that we had an interview scheduled and it was inappropriate for an employer to ask me to start working/training for free without signing any form of a legal contract....he began accusing me of "You knew what this was when you showed up. I told you." Um...no....I showed up for an interview. Not to be solicited by a perverted hiring manager. (3) I called the other locations to verify if this was Normal ....Long story short ITS NOT! THEY ARE HORRIFIED. Medford flat out asked me "HOW MANY TIMES DID HE ASK YOU TO FILL OUT THE APPLICATION?" After I told her I arrived to the meeting and was asked to provide my information again. (4) I also had to ask if they recently changed their application after I noticed the new one had ILLEGAL questions (I.e. HIPPA violation, Health Diagnositics, GRIT Test, asking WAY too much information that no employer every needs to have). When I outlined my concerns regarding the new application at the Roseburg location...I was reassured by headquarters that "NO" their application did not change (Now they are looking into WHO decided to update the application without company permission)....Why is this a big deal? In 2010-2013 The University of Oregon became aware of a Human trafficking ring that was utilizing Hiring Managers and indivdiuals who worked in Human Resources to locate and target individuals (its easy for them to have access to your address, finances, etc...) The questions on the new application are textbook "Predatory" based on 2014-2016 AAFS standards. ... I cannot believe this shit seriously happened in 2026, but it did. I looked that man dead in the face and asked him if he was serious. When he continued to run his mouth and accuse me of "knowing what I signed up for" I got up and walked straight out of that office. If any current/former employees or applicants experienced a similar circumstance (or worse) please report to Goodwill and call the Police. That being said, the location was beautiful. Store was immaculate and the employees were doing an amazing job....My issue is solely with this pervert in the hiring center.

And all of it is fun to look through. We found this place when we were looking for boat plugs. No one, including big sporting goods stores had any but someone suggested Coastal Farm and Ranch-which did not compute-but when I called, not only did they have them, they had two types and two different sizes!! So this is the only place I go. I had fantastic service-the gentleman in Sporting Goods had been wonderful on numerous occasions, a gentleman in the area with Power Equipment put down a long tree saw to help me find something, someone in the Animal Feed department helped me find something, too. If you bring something back, you need a receipt or if you join their club, they can find what you've purchased- best thing! I definitely recommend going to Coastal Farm and Ranch and I'll be back!

The cashier sent me to customer service for help with the discounts. Jared in Customer service at the Roseburg OR Safeway refunded the amount I should have had discounted, almost $20. Then he tried to get my app sorted out & called their customer service on my behalf. I will not to until tomorrow, if my app is correct now Bug Shout out to Jared!

They used to carry produce items in the past 8 months that they don't anymore, too. It's hard to count on finding what you need for your meal prep. The store is clean, bright and I like the brands they carry for milk and eggs. The meat department has great service and can have excellent deals and quality but not on all items.
