We went in here on opened day (October 30) and found they had quite a bit to offer... including free coffee while you shop. :) We didn't really need anything when we walked in, but we walked out with over $100 worth of stuff. Books start at just 99 cents, they had jeans for $7.99, DVD movies for 99 cents and sooooo much more! This store is very clean and organized - as it should be since it just opened. Hopefully they can keep it clean and organized. If so, this will be one of my new places to shop. Make sure you sign up for the Ollie's Army card. With the card they track your purchases and will send you a savings certificate once you spend $250.00 total. They will also send you out special deals from time to time. When you register the card online, they will send you a 10% off certificate as well.

Maybe Ollie is working these boys too hard? Another oddity. A relief cashier came up and rang up one customer to relieve a long line. Then walked away as we approached his check out. There were still three people behind us! The other ladies seem nice and the store does have an incredibly huge selection. There's definitely not nearly the quantity that you would find at a place like Salvation Army or Goodwill. The Union Station legendary ribs were so/so but this store was a hit for me. There is a wide variety of items to peruse with many unique items in both the upstairs and on the main floor. I came to browse and burn time till the restaurant opened and was pleasantly surprised with a must-have find. I couldn't walk away from a beautiful leather cross-bag. The pony hair was so soft and the colors were gorgeous. With tax, I forked over $200.00; expensive, you bet! Worth it for the find; you bet! As long as you go in through the right entrance, you don't have to walk the whole mall, although we love the huge size and selection at Great Lakes! We used the map right by the door and found GameStop quickly. The mall felt welcoming and had a lot going on, so it's definitely a place you could spend more time if you wanted to. Even though we didn't need help from mall staff, we were greeted by a few people as we walked through, which was nice. It turned out to be a smooth and easy visit overall.
