As I'm sipping my delicious wine, I find that my mind is drawn to one important thought: This Ollie's Bargain Outlet that I visited in Clarksville two months ago would have been greatly improved if they sold wine. Ollie's doesn't sell wine (or any alcohol, for that matter). Too bad! But if you're in the market for discounted boxes of Hungry Jack mashed potatoes, bird feeders, comforter sets, off-brand slider storage bags, water guns and neoprene gloves, Ollie's is your store. There's a lot of stuff everywhere, and honestly, it's a little overwhelming. Ollie's takes a page from the Aldi playbook: There are just ripped open boxes of items on the shelves. To heck with aesthetics -- Ollie's is too busy saving you money to fiddle around with arranging items on a shelf nicely. I stopped in to get some lotion, and wouldn't you know, I could only find one bottle of lotion in the whole store. It wasn't a brand that I would have normally bought, but you can't be picky at Ollie's. You get what you get or you can get the eff out. Visiting Ollie's is like participating in a treasure hunt. You don't know what you'll find, or if you'll find anything at all. But it's worth a shot to stop in and try.

In some cases it was an easy comparison and in others you could find it in the original store on sale and have no risk with it being damaged. The shelves were a bit messy and made it harder for me to easily identify items without shuffling around the packages to read more about them. Anything considered furniture was in a box and required assembly. Service was friendly. I witnessed the associates helping customers find things or answer questions and we checked out quickly once ready. In a shopping center and not easily seen from the road. Large parking lot. Decent enough to roam when you're in the area.

In my opinion, they have Better items than other Thrift stores and much more fairer prices than a Goodwill. Wifey and I both picked up several items ranging from $1.77 - $3.77 and they were brand new or like new. They also have antiques. There were things priced well enough I wished I meeded them, but I didn't. Wifey told me so. She told me to look for games and I found her a brand new one. She found me a black and red plaid ballcap that perfectly matches a winter jacket I almost wore that very day. I haven't wore it probable in a year, but now have the hat for it.
