There are some very nice items in store, even if you may have to look for them, & it is definitely worth taking a look to see just what you can find. & who doesn't love a good deal & saving money!

Prices are much lower than you would find the exact same things at some other places. I have also found many items here that I have not been able to find at any other places in town. One of my favorite things about Ollie's is that there is absolutely no other place in town I have found K-cups for Keurigs in 12-pack boxes for only $4! They have a huge selection of name brand K-cups in coffee, flavored coffees, cappuccinos, hot chocolates & tea. I come here all the time, just to see what I can find, & almost always leave with a cart full of merchandise! They also have a very wide range of toys for half of what I have found the exact same things priced at at other places. I love this store!

I tried to be friendly. He never responded to anything I said. He gave me my refund and refused to give me my receipt back...this is when I found out he was the manager. I had to argue with him to get it back. I swore I would never go back in the store. Well today, I decided to go in there because it was convenient. I talked to an employee who was rude in her tone to me. Talked to me like I did something wrong when something rung up for 1 cent and I was going to get more. I didn't realize it was a mistake, i just thought DT was trying to get rid of the item. It's not like their stuff has prices or signs on them. She said I couldn't buy more. Never once explained why, never once apologized. It's not what she said or the fact that she refused to let me buy more...I understood actually once I figured out it was a mistake in their system. It's how she spoke to me. Turns out...she is a manager. I was polite and if it weren't for my honestly she wouldn't have even known about it. I'm done with this place. All the other DT's in Owensboro have been friendly to me and know I will even jump in to help here and there if I can. Learning to talk to people respectfully should be a class for the managers of this store.

The store was decorated cute and the ambiance was relaxing. Each station for an artist's work was set up individually and there was a large selection of pieces to purchase. The best part is that they will customize just about anything in the store with monograms or names. Customizable options included pillows, plates, tumblers, travel organization bags, and more, I'm sure! The store owner was so friendly and helpful. As soon as I walked in she made sure to welcome me and make me feel right at home. I was shopping for a wedding gift and she walked around the store with me suggesting different options and telling me what her best-sellers were for brides and grooms. One thing to work on is when new items arrive, I wish they would work to open up the items a bit more controlled and orderly.
