Something I also utilize Five Below for is phone accessories. The latest was a trip in with my dad to get all the goods for his new iPhone. We got him a solid case, car charger, wireless charger and screen protector...all for under $20. The store is always packed full of stuff, even the sidewalk has goods, so when it gets busy, it can be hard to navigate, especially with a cart. Service is usually pretty solid at this location. I decided Halloween morning that I wanted to throw a witches brew with a couple of my friend girls and early during the month I'd see some Lolita witch wine glasses at the Hallmark in Cumberland Mall, so I decided I needed six of those glasses to make my lil last minute party a success. One snag, Hallmark had marked down their Halloween merchandise down 50% a week before Halloween, so when I went into Cumberland, the glass was gone. I left the store with a list of other stores and my quest to hunt down as many of these glasses as I could. When I called this store, the lady that answered the phone didn't even know she was about to be tested by a customer service professional, but she caught on fast. I explained to her what I wanted and she politely asked me if I would call back as she was doing a gift wrap and the store was busy. Of course, I replied, that NO I wouldn't be calling back, that she needed to just have someone else look or I would hold. She placed me on hold and shortly came back not only with the information regarding the glass, but she was holding said glass in her hand and gave me a detailed description of what the glass looked like and took my name and place it on hold for me to pick up. When I got to the store, which is a 45 minute drive from my house, the glass was on hold as agreed and I asked the lady ringing me up if she was the person I spoke to on the phone and another lady that was behind me, stated that she was the person that I spoke with. I tried to apologize to her for being so short/rude/impatient/snobbish on the phone and she just laughed me off and said, just don't do it again to someone else. She agreed that I had been all those things, but admitted that when you work in retail, you are bound to have to deal with someone who wants everything to stop for them right that moment, regardless of what the store staff may be dealing with at the moment. She was so cordial, didn't even phase her how much of a bytch I had been on the phone earlier. The next thing I know, I'm standing there waiting for the cashier to hand me the glass and she says, oh, I thought you wanted it gift wrapped. I told here I didn't and we both ran to the gift wrap station to stop the lady that was now wrapping the glass. Such class and charm were all the ladies at this location, if it wasn't so far from my house, it could easily be my favorite Hallmark store. BTW, I was only able to find two of the Lolita witch glasses.

Being that I did the entire order online, I was in control of everything before it went to print which increased my confidence in the order. Once my order was placed, I set it for pick up at the Office Depot - Fayetteville location. I received the email when my order was ready and made my way to Office Depot - Fayetteville. The location was easy to find as it is directly on the main road. There is ample parking and easy access on and off the roadway. Walking in, the Office Depot - Fayetteville location is huge. The light was bright and vibrant and the store was super clean. I made my way to the print area, provided my name, and boom. My order was waiting on me. Yesssssssss. Talk about easy and convenient. I checked my cards and they looked amazing. The bleed area was spot on and the prints looked exactly like they did online via the sample provided. The young lady who assisted me was super nice and made the transaction that much better. If you are able to do your ordering online, I say do it. It's quick, easy, and straightforward. And the pick up process is truly a pick up process.

On the same day of purchase, I bought an HP printer cartridge (HP 934) and realized shortly after opening the outer packaging that I had selected the wrong model. I had my receipt and returned to the store within hours to request an exchange or refund. Despite the product being unused and in resellable condition, I was met by a store representative who was not only unhelpful but also dismissive and rude. I was told that because the box had been opened, they would not accept the return--without any attempt to offer an alternative solution, such as an exchange or store credit. What made the situation worse was the tone and behavior of the staff. Instead of trying to assist or de-escalate, I felt rushed out of the store and treated as if I had done something wrong. There was no effort to provide customer service or uphold basic professionalism. This experience raises serious concerns about Office Depot's customer service practices and return policies. A same-day return with a valid receipt for an unused item should not result in this kind of treatment. Policies should be applied with reasonable discretion, especially when the product is clearly unused and the mistake was immediately addressed. I am requesting that this situation be reviewed and that Office Depot take steps to ensure: a. Staff are trained to handle customer concerns professionally and respectfully b. Reasonable accommodations are made for legitimate same-day return situations c. Clear and fair return policies are consistently communicated and applied As it stands, this experience reflects poorly on the company's commitment to customer satisfaction and basic business ethics. Please refrain from using them as they're stacking up the wins with unethical practices.
