Daily Deals was such an interesting find during our day trip driving through Fresno. We found it…read moreacross from a cafe we visited and decided to take a look when we saw a crowd of customers going in and out. From the outside we read that there were different prices for the items they put out depending on the day you visit. The day we visited everything was apparently $9 only. When we entered, we noticed the left side of the store had all of the items that were priced that way, and on the right side of the store had other larger items for sale such as furniture and appliances, but most products were still in boxes. I soon realized that this was a store that mainly contained Amazon returns as well as from other stores such as the Home Depot. I'm guessing the store owner purchased all of these in bulk for a very discounted price and offers them to customers that were willing to pay for an item which you can't necessarily confirm is working or not. Apparently customers are willing to take a chance, so I filled up my cart and now I was among them too. If you do take your time to sort through everything and do some quick research on your phone, you'll find out that many items are at a much discounted price compared to if you were to purchase it brand new online... but it does get competitive, so grab things quickly. I used my phone to take a look at some of those items which were opened or out of their box and noticed that most of them were actually a really good deal. For instance there was a fan there that on Amazon was listed at $30 brand new but here it was in front of me for only nine dollars. We purchased a few things that were priced reasonably well and also decided to take a look at the right side of the store which had larger items but many of them still being in the box. I didn't have a chance to look at everything but I did notice that some appliances were priced online for hundreds of dollars and here you could find it for around $50. Again, you wouldn't really know what's wrong with the item or if there were parts missing but when you think about it, it's actually a good deal in taking that risk because if there is anything missing, you can always contact the manufacturer, I would assume, and request for the missing part if necessary. This is a place that I would certainly recommend although you've got to remember that these are mostly returns from customers so some could be used, but some look brand new still wrapped up. Also, if you are going to stop by, make sure to have your phone handy so you can look up the item for pricing information before you purchase it to see if you are really getting a good deal. For the day that we stopped by, everything being nine dollars, you really can't go wrong. Also, if you were to come on a different day, those items can be marked down to three or four dollars. It's definitely a competitive adventure but recommended if you're in the area and have some time to spare.

Got French toast sticks, breakfast hot pockets, candy like almond joy, Reese's, Reese's pumpkins, Halloween pretzels,etc., flavor water adds, soil, snuggly, etc. Organized and easy to find what you need! Really nice store! The worker was kind and very friendly. $5 off deal! After paid the worker wished a good day! Great service & Great store! Highly recommended!

I went into Dollar General with my son. ..didn't realize he was kicked out due to making YouTube…read morevideos inside. .. when the store manager Susanna approached with a negative demeanor and attitude it thrwq me off ...what did I do...so I tried talking to her to see what was the situation and she was rude as if I was the one kicked out . So I asked her for her name which she provided with a tone in her voice that was unpleasant so I asked for the corporate number to which she replied for me to look it up myself . As the face of Dollar General her cudt8ner survive and customer satisfaction skills are non existent so I looked up the number myself....I called and Nicole called me which is Susanna boss from what I was told. She was gonna kook into it and call me baxk and she never did so I left a message for her...still no call so I called corporate again and this time asked for a real manager to call me back which he did. I explained what had happened and he understood why I was upset and was supposed to talk Susanna and call me back also . All I wanted was to know why as a manager would she think it's ok to not give the corporate number if a customer has a complaint ...he still hasn't called me back either . .I have footage to validate how horrible of a manager she is on my phone and I'll be calling corporate again today to talk to someone that actually cares about providing good customer experience...this Dollar general sucks

I did my shopping and checked out when I walked out I noticed my receipt was only half printed. So I walked back in and told them I needed a fully printed receipt they said they couldn't do so. I informed them I use an app in which I get redemptions back and wouldn't be able to do so with a half printed receipt.... they didn't care and were frankly rude about. Great place to find deals on random items. From car tires, washing machine, exercise, equipment,…read morefurniture, chairs, and sometimes shelf stable foods like I said, totally random. Most items are still in the box and the bigger priced items are on the shelf and 50% off. But some are in brown boxes so they're hard to tell what's inside of them but sometimes there's an open box near it. The items come from returns from Amazon, Walmart, and various other big-name establishments. They replenish new items on Fridays and tend to put stuff out throughout the day in the table bins where each day is a specified dollar amount with Thursdays being the least at $1 day. I was there on a Sunday afternoon and it wasn't super busy, but you can sense the mental frenzy of people searching through items but for the most part it's pretty organized and well-kept. I was looking to get some handweights for exercise but missed out since I waited a few days to come in but the lady said they gets replenished Friday so I will check it in then. I did get a Camelback insulated metal water bottle that retails at $26 that I got for nine dollars. And they have a lot of namebrand items but you just have to look for them. The staff there was nice despite the fact that some of the customers there can be a little nitpicky on some of the items, but you get what you pay for in some cases there product might be without packaging or damaged but if you don't mind fixing them up, then it's a great deal too. Plenty of parking out front and once inside, it wasn't crazy busy and no line at the cashier. I was able to pay with cash or credit card/Apple Pay.
