I always find something I need but sometimes they do not have the best deals. Like their Tide buy out....Dollar General is cheaper on a daily basis but their zip lock prices are great. Love looking thru their spices for new ones. They have THE BEST PRICES AND SELECTION! This Ollie's also has an AMAZING book section. I'm finding that certain Ollie's have their own great selections of certain things. This one is books, the one on Pleasant Hill in Duluth has great bed sets and towels and the one in Athens rugs and toys! The one in Snellville is closest to my home so I go there regularly and boy am I happy I did bc one of my sacks somehow didn't make it in my cart! I called when I got home and they had it behind the register so going back today to pick it up! This is one of my favorite stores.

This place was a little tricky to find at first. I actually had to call, and one of the employees…read morecame outside to wave me down from the road -- which I truly appreciated. That kind of effort doesn't go unnoticed. That said... a sign out front would help a lot. Once inside, I was pleasantly surprised by the variety. They carry a wide range of home décor, and the prices are very solid. Definitely one of those spots where you can stumble on some real finds without blowing your budget. The only downside of the experience was who I assume is the owner following me around the store, trying to strike up conversation and push me to buy something. It felt less like friendly customer service and more like pressure -- almost like he was begging me to make a purchase, which took away from the browsing experience a bit. Still, I can't deny they have some really good stuff, and the staff member who helped me outside was great. Despite that one uncomfortable moment, I'll definitely be back -- next time with a little more patience and a clear mission.

On my first visit, I came in to buy candy and ending up browsing. And during that initial visit, I appreciated how many items this store has to offer and how well it's laid out. The patrons and workers take care of this store. I don't know how long it's been open, but it doesn't have the "tired" feel of most discount stores. And it's neat. Things aren't all piled up on each other in any random area; each section is separate and where you would expect to find something it's usually there. I didn't initially think of Deals as a "dollar store" but there are a lot of things that are $1. If I had kids, I come here every other month or so, give them $10 and let them go crazy. And if I were just starting out and not sure of what I needed, I would come here to buy dinnerware, glasses, etc. The prices are comparable to (and in some cases lower than) Wal-Mart and Target, so why deal with the parking and long check out lines of a bigger store? I don't know if I would have ever gone into this store if I wasn't dealing with a "candy jones" but I'm glad I did.
