This year, 2023, a gentleman named Tim took over running the store and has COMPLETELY turned it around! It is now so clean, organized, well stocked and friendly! You couldn't get down most of the aisles before without tripping over things, it was an ADA nightmare no way someone in a wheelchair could get around in there. Now the aisles are clear! Tim greets you with a smile and a kind word and cares so much about your shopping experience. I was in there today and speaking with him and an older Hispanic woman came in and he greeted her in Spanish and carried on a conversation with her in Spanish which was so wonderful to see the inclusion and love for all people of different backgrounds and cultures. Which is not common in this area. I am so grateful this gentleman Tim came in and took over this store. He leads his team with kindness and confidence. I hope dollar general knows and values what an amazing store manager they have. Great job Tim and thank you for all your hard work!

*Have good fitting jeans? Will travel*…read more So I spent the day with my folks in Kingfisher and this Atwoods here in town was the only location near me that had the Ranch Woman Jeans. I talked with a super nice lady on the phone named Jackie and asked her if they carried them because the NW Expressway location didn't carry them and she said well my manager is standing right next to me and she wears them so yes we carry them come on down she said :). So I bought me a couple pair of them today and they fit really well and they are boot cut which they fit over my boots like PERFECT!!! So this is my new "go to" store for great fitting jeans!

Cars parked at the fuel station need to watch for other cars backing out. Inside looks clean, there's a sanitizing table right when you walk in that holds masks and hand sanitizer available for the customers. All the staff was wearing masks as well. They also offer Subway and Godfathers pizza inside. Customers were coming and going so it looks like they definitely keep busy for such a small establishment. We both got sweet teas...that were not that sweet, we had to add some sugar. They looked pretty well stocked, aisles clear. The bathrooms could use a little attention but it looked like only 2 employees were here and both were helping customers so they may be waiting for a break to check on them. The lady that waited on us was very polite and a little funny...all in all I'd stop here again!

I was ordering a sandwich and she had the worst attitude ever. Rolled her eyes more than once when I was telling her my order. Again, one of the worst experiences I've ever had in a store. I felt like an inconvenience as the customer, that's insane to me. Her co-workers were phenomena, older black gentleman, and a mid aged white women, both of them did and I'm sure still do a great job.
