Not a fan of this location as shelves and products were not stocked or they did not carry items that are usually stocked at other sites. The shelves were not kept neat or organized. With a line of 7 people waiting, there was unfortunately 1 cashier working. Cashier was nice and pleasant while I made my purchase. This is a pretty average dollar tree. You can always find some random stuff that you don't expect to find in here. This is a great place to shop for your kids back to school supplies, they have pens and pencils and crayons and paper and all those things that you're going to need including Staples and staplers and cellophane tape. They carry a good selection of drinks and a good selection of toiletries in that sort of thing. They have a lot of random stuff in the freezer. You can literally got most things that you need in this place although sometimes they're Chinese and so they're not as good of quality as you might want. The staff is pretty friendly as a general rule. They try hard to keep it clean. read more

As much as I love all my designer bags, shoes, etc., I cannot tell a lie... I just love Dollar Tree! Everything really is just $1.00. Except for greeting cards and those are just $.50. The main things I visit Dollar Tree for are the balloons, gift bags, and cards. It seems like I'm forever stopping by a Dollar Tree to grab those particular items. Every now and then though, other things catch my eye. For instance, I bought several of those things that hold reading glasses around the neck from other stores and they never worked. I picked one up from here about 6 months ago for just a buck and they still hold my glasses perfectly securely. Clean store, organized, plenty of parking, friendly employees. This particular Dollar Tree is rather dingy and depressing. It's very messy and not in a good cluttered way either. They do have the usual items you come here for, but it can be harder to find things and many times packages are opened and items are broken. Frankly, to me it's worth the time and gas to drive to another section of town to go to another Dollar Tree than to go to this one. read more

Very rude manager, her name is Lonnie at this store! I will report her to corporate and give her bad reviews! I asked her if her register was open being she wasn't near it but her light was on, she turned and said, well you do see the light on don't you? I said I wasn't sure because the other register didn't have her light on, but she has a customer, she said, that's none of your business why her light isn't on, like wow! She kept yelling at me and then refused to ring me out! She had my daughter scared and crying, that's NOT acceptable! What keeps me coming back to this Dollar Tree is, HELLO...everything's a dollar! And it's pretty convenient to my house. The selection is pretty good and especially for snacks and household necessities. Overall, they are usually stocked with everything I need when I need it, the staff is nice, and there's a few spots of shade to park your car during those hot summer days. I'm a regular. read more

I don't even want to give them a star. I liked this store, it's big, has more items than most... i do not care for the employees or location. This is my 2nd time in this location as it's close but I will never return and probably never shop at dollar tree again which sucks because I loved getting the crafts to do including with my kids. Ready for the long interaction? I stood in the long line( only 2 were opened) to have the worst cashier ever. Didn't greet me, asked the normal " find everything ok, how's your day?" Nothing just rang things up. After she rang me up and told me my total, I tried to pay. Distracted by my 2 year old son and making sure he wasn't running off, I pulled the card out since it said to and made the sound. She very rudely said " try again. Didn't go through." I asked if she was sure since it said it did. " yeah I am. Try it again" so I did, as she's mean mugging me said again it didn't go through and I need to not use my pin. It's credit or cash... I told her I didn't know, she didn't informed me ( which is argued she did) and in the thinking process of why is she being rude, I froze and she kept rudely saying to try again and everyone has been pushing the green button. There are ppl waiting to go. A customer on the other line said loudly " yeah she was in here before me and I heard the announcement. She was being loud with her kid, should of paid attention and she would of heard it" excuse me... I turned to her and said "yeah I was busy watching my kid and making sure he didn't run off and break things instead of listening to the voice over. " I asked for a manager( she was helping the other rude customer and never tried to help the situation) the cashier stood there looking at me rudely and I was fed up. I tried again with the card now that I know to not put in the pin. But with all the employees and the customer STILL Actively giving me a hard time over it and being rude, I threw my bags down and left. Checked my account at home and I was still charged which I was telling her it had gone through so I didn't need to " keep trying" Called the store to get them to cancel it, same lady told me she was not talking to me and hung up. I called again and said I was not in the wrong and I need my money back. She said " yes it went through if you had stayed and listened that I told you that" ummm no you didn't and why would I stay in a store FILLED with rude employees yelling at me with my son. Waiting for corporate to call me back so I can tell them this. So never returning and if you want rude customer service and get yelled at for voicing that your card did go through and you don't need someone talking to you rudely then have fun! You cannot return seasonal items, especially if was just couple weeks ago. Sorry store & just unprofessional. I didn't cause a scene cause it's the dollar store but if I bought too many items I do not need to use. Take your merchandise back & give me my money back. read more

The manager Vanessa is very unprofessional and rude. She even treated me poor. She even threaten to break my phone When I told her I was going to call customer service on the way she spoke to me. After reading other reviews others have shared the same review on this manager. Its a shame that this company hires and put in charge this type of person. I love the products and shop here a lot in the past. Please observe your employees before she hits someone and you have a law suit. read more

The blond manager, "Vanessa" (If that's really her name) is extremely unprofessional and rude. I go in frequently to purchase craft supplies and this last time, I went in to purchase supplies to make a fall wreath. While at the checkout counter, the "manager" dropped my little pumpkin on the ground and instead of picking it up, she kicked it under the register, thinking I didn't see her. When I asked her what happened to my little pumpkin, she said "What pumpkin? I don't know nothing about no pumpkin!" Then she turned to the employee behind her, and started mocking me saying "She talking about where did her pumpkin go, I aint see no pumpkin, you see a pumpkin?" They continued to laugh as I was walking out. I never told her that I saw her kick it under the counter and just knowing that she thought I was stupid enough to think it disappeared into thin air added insult to injury. Until this location stops hiring trash, who can barely speak in full sentences (this girl looked high as a kite), I wont be returning. There are much nicer stores in Cedar Hills and Oakleaf where the employees are always super friendly and helpful. read more
