Becky in Customer Service couldn't have been more accommodating. This place is incredible - I really wish we had a Pete's in So Cal! Picked up all the food (even had fresh baked rolls right out of the oven). I had a lot of family asking where I catered from. I told them the story (and found out the place I was originally going to cater from has gone DOWNHILL in quality - so everything happens for a reason). All I can say is the food was INCREDIBLE. Mostaccioli with marinara sauce, sausage and peppers, Italian sliced beef, broasted chicken - amazing! I'm fairly certain Pete's has won my family's catering needs. At least I hope so!! Visited the B P O ELKS Lodge 1273 recently on two occasions one for their Friday night Lenten Fish…read more fry and for their St. Patrick's day smoked corned beef dinner. The most disappointing aspect was the service which was definitely not up to par. On both nights we were served by inexperienced young girls who probably were related someone at The Elks. They were scarce when they should have been checking in on our tables to see if we needed anything else . They never brought our dessert on our second night there but added them to the take orders we also bought. We gave them both generous tips regardless. The fish fry was good but I've had better elsewhere. The smoked corned beef on the next day was good but the portion size was like the equivalent of two (2) tablespoons of meat, quite inadequate at any price. The cost $20 per order and let me tell you one boiled potato, a small hunk of cabbage and some mini carrots sure don't bring up the cost. The place wasn't crowded on either night which doesn't surprise me from what I've witnessed here. There is much room for improvement here as hope remains that this Elks club may make adjustments and gain a greater reputation by word of mouth.
