I love Friends of the Library! It's one of my favorite places to browse for used books…read more For a small space, it has a great selection of used books, often including the latest books or popular books. They're usually in good quality and for the lowest prices I've ever seen. They also have a good amount of children's books. I remember being able to fill my own classroom library with children's picture books and novels that would cost anywhere from $0.25 to $1.00. I was like omg, these are so cheap! It really gave me the impression that they just want to put books in your hands. Just of how little they charged. Sometimes, they'll have events where you could fill a big bag for just a few bucks. It's very considerate of teachers and avid readers. I believed in them so much, we finally took down our book shelf and donated all of our books, including hardcovers, to them because I knew they would be able to get it into the hands of our community. I think the funds they make keep their bookstore going and help with local events. So bottom line, if you enjoy browsing through used book shops like me, this is a must stop. :)

If you've never been here before, do yourself a favor; grab a beverage and keep your afternoon wide open because you'll need the extra time to walk down the lamp aisle. Yes, there's not just one but multiple aisles dedicated to just lamps. Once you're done with the lamp aisle, head over to the pillow section, or maybe you're in the market for a new area rug, couch, tables, or art for your bare walls. There's a dedicated section for everything! Price wise It can be hit or miss. More hits than misses! Typically the seasonal stuff, Halloween, Christmas, summer, etc, are the higher priced items, but just wait until the holiday is over and you'll see price drops. We bought a brand new Christmas tree here (see pics) and it was on the a pricey side, but the quality is amazing and we really needed a new tree. Did I mention there are six aisles just for Christmas trees?! The service here is awesome and I recommend signing up for their rewards program if you plan on becoming a regular customer. They also have the same return system as Costco. No need for a receipt just bring it back, they'll look up the CC you used and do the exchange or return.
