They had an array of aisles of items that some would think were more than one dollar, but weren't. Anything you wanted, they had it. Upon entering the store, they even had bolts of carpet for stairs that was one dollar a foot! I came out with a big bag full one dollar treasures that l knew l could not find in the Dollar Tree stores. Everytime l come to Reading, this is one of my stops. The sales associates are always pleasant and there is never a time that you would leave this store empty handed. Check it out if you are in the area.

I'll go out on a limb and decide this kind of reminds me of 5 and 10 cent stores of the past, combined with that little corner store with sundries, milk, cigs, that used to be everywhere from the 30s through the 70's. During the various holiday seasons you will find decorations to purchase outside lining their sidewalk on the side of the building. You see this driving by and it's hard not to turn in and check them out. As you enter the building you will also see some of the outdoor decorations to the right along with a section that appears to have some magazines/ periodicals. To the left and at the counter lottery tickets are available for purchase. As you make your way to the back of the store you start to realize that it transforms from a mishmash to a section that they decided would be more organized and definitely geared towards inexpensive home decor. It's a local gem worth a "stopby" where I'm sure you will find something to purchase. A "must stop"during various holiday seasons.

In 2007 they did film some scenes for the upcoming movie 'Lovely Bones' , but I think all the sets have been dismantled, so it's not even worth a visit to see a movie set. *Warning do not shop here* Our couch was sold to ud damaged…read moreand was accused of breaking it ourselves. My fiance and I bought a couch from Samson furniture store. This is the second couch we bought from them. First one we bought about 4 years ago and the other one we just picked up today. Granite it wasn't an expensive couch. Under 700.00 but perfect for what we needed it for. When we got it back to the house we unpackaged it and put the feet on. when we flip up the couch and took a better look I notice a bow in the wood on the front piece and the springs pier to be popping up the cushions so something wasn't right. It wasn't something simple that we would be able to live with. We packed up the section that was broken to take it back. The manager accused us of breaking it and to make matters even worse accused my fiance of being "wacked out of his mind" because he told him after he accused us of breaking it, to give us a refund. So when he went back up with the other part of the couch the manager continued to accused him of breaking it and insist that he must of jumpped on the couch breaking it. Told him to F*** off in front of customers. That is No way to run a business. Apparently if someone wanted to return something they must be high. We are upset about how all this turned out and how he treated us.
