Was so glad to find a Dollar Tree in Floral Park, not far from me. This store is not as large as some I've been to in the 'burbs, but carries plenty. It's pretty organized, clean, and easy to navigate and a good place to find smaller items for the house. The main item I buy here are greeting cards - can get Hallmark brand for 2 for $1 compared to $4+ for one at regular drugstores. I used to also buy mylar balloons here but they stopped carrying them. Aside from that, they offer a wide variety of discount goods (brand and off-brand) at low prices (note: most items are more than a dollar). I'm always finding something "I didn't know I needed", like yesterday I found a glasses pouch to hold my reading glasses (which they also carry) and a plunger for my bathroom. They also have kitchen, bath, stationery/books, gardening, holiday, and food items. There are usually several cashiers open, so the line doesn't get too long. Cashiers have always been friendly and helpful. Just one note - the parking lot is tight so can get full quick. You may have to wait for someone to leave, or find (paid) street parking. read more

I've been to a few dollar trees and this one always seems to be the best. I usually come here for balloons, and they usually have every balloon displayed in stock. There is free parking in their parking lot, but spots are generally limited. You'll just have to wait a bit and you'll get a spot soon enough. The line inside moves pretty fast. read more

Who doesn't like a dollar store? I am pretty sure that all of us wants to save from our hard-earned money. This place has an acceptable amount of parking space or you can use street parking. I mainly go to this joint to purchase Mylar balloons, these type of balloons are very affordable in this place as compared to any other places I have tried. I usually prefer Mylar balloons than the latex as these has a longer floating time, looks sparkly, and it can be in any form ( hearts, stars, numbers, etc.) unlike the latex. Staff are courteous, friendly and helpful. Just like any other businesses, this store has slightly increased their prices due to pandemic, but it is still affordable. There are also other stuffs in the store that are worth buying, you just have to go and check out what they are offering. read more

The beauty of Dollar Tree is everything and I mean everything is a dollar. I had found some great wine/sangria and margarita glasses that we use for outside in the summer for just a dollar. When I show my company they can't believe the quality for just a dollar. Even the Mylar balloons are just a dollar, good quality and they last. The store is quite large and has many items. I try to stay away from some food items. Remember if it's to good to be true it probably is. There was a write up on some toothpaste sold in dollar stores that one of the ingredients was harmful, a small amount but since it was purchased outside of the United States somehow they were able to sell it. Not sure of all the details. Around the holidays, they have decorations for every occasion. I don't know how they do it with some items which should cost more, most likely not up to spec like batteries, but they still work ok. It's great to be able to run and purchase some items and not break the bank. read more

This is the largest dollar tree that I've seen. I got a little too excited in here. Each aisle was better than the last. I had the intention of buying 3 or 4 items and then this happened! There were actually workers available on the floor to ask questions to. One of the gentlemen even escorted me to the item I asked him for. There were several cashiers, making the wait time short. Everyone was extremely nice and the selections and variety were awesome! I shouldn't but I will be back. read more

Enjoy coming here they have a lot of good products if you look around. I like buying the 2 percent milk that comes in a box( modern pantry brand). You can find lots of occasion cards for 2 for 1 dollar. At times they have Campbell soups. Sometimes healthy request n chin my soups brands. They also have 100 wheat bread at times. Coconut water is great to buy here. Sometimes you also can find large boxes of Kellogg's cereal. read more

Make sure you count your change before leaving this store. I spent $7.88. I gave the clerk a $20 bill. I was holding my pocket book, ballon's I had just purchased and the dollar tree bag. I took the change and receipt and put them in my pocket....my mistake not counting my change. When I got home, I took $2.12 out of my pocket. Instead of giving me $12.12, he kept the ten and gave me $2.12. I returned to the store immediately after and nothing. They would not return my $10 to me. During these difficult times, I think it's very disheartening to know that a neighborhood store would treat customers this way. read more

So..... it's in a convenient location, but parking?! Lol! About parking! The lot is EXTREMELY small. There is metered parking on the street and a few parking spots around back. I always just park over at Staples and walk over lol so much easier than fighting for a spot in that little lot. So that takes off a star. Outside of parking I love this store because it's got so many options! I also love how it's typically pretty neat and well organized. I HATE places that are unclean and in disarray which is how most dollar trees are. I love how this store has a wide variety of options for anything that you're looking for. Like if you want chocolate there are 20 different brands. If you want toilet paper or dish soap there are multiple brands to choose from. I don't like not having options. The second star is taken off because of the service. The employees are never happy to be there and behave in a way that shows that they're OBLIGATED to help you lol. Boo! Most of my readers know that I am a HUGE fan of the Dollar Tree stores and this location is no exception. It's a free standing store with it's own parking lot and plenty of street parking too. The store is big and fortunately these stores are all set up the same way so finding items from store to store is very easy. What ever you need for household items and food, and cleaning supplies, etc, etc. can be found here. I don't know how they do it but dollar tree is my goto for cards, balloons, glassware and more. They have a great staff who are always willing to help you out but... that staff is limited and if they're not helping you, they're probably working at the cash register or unpacking new merchandise. They could definitely use a few more cashiers to move the line a bit more quickly but that could have a negative impact to the pricing structure so I never go here if I'm in a big rush. Big, bright and clean with a friendly team.... They have the perfect retail model here. read more

I stopped into the store this afternoon to pick up a few things . I have to say this particular store is absolutely filthy from the shelves to the piles of dirt on the sales floor . I understand stores get busy and messy but this one needs the health department involved. Shame on the store management for not taking pride in the store they run. 250 Jericho turnpike floral park needs a deep cleaning. I love that it's close by but I will now have to travel further to find a dollar tree. read more

I stopped in yesterday and was able to grab a few items. Honestly, I didn't think there was anything standout about this location. Average size and so with the amount of items it felt cramped. Every aisle I found myself moving over to let someone pass. There couldn't have been 30 people in the store. Also the lighting does nothing for the space. Parking was a nightmare the lot was packed and someone mentions there's ton of street parking. Yea! And tons of other businesses to compete for the parking. If this is your local store ok but if you're leaving the area near Jamaica or the other side coming from LI don't waste your time. read more

Started my Christmas wrappers , boxes, bows etc shopping today. Their stocks which they displayed in the front looked like are all out. Closed boxes are on the floor and seems like in an "on going" process . Prices of course as what the store named for are all dollar unlike in other $ store, there are items that they are selling either more or less. The only concern is their small parking space. It is easily gets occupied. read more

Variety of organize products for just a dollar. Tons of Xmas and daily household items. Cashiers are friendly. I got a salad plastic bowl not knowing the bowl is already crack when I reached home. The parking lot is plus but gets filled up quickly. Waiting for parking is such a pain. Other than that I would definitely come back ocassionally read more

This dollar tree is very messy. Most of the store is a fire hazard. The staff are sometimes nice. Sometimes, if one thing is in the store one week and it sells out, you might never find it again. Also, the parking lot is so small a Chevy Tahoe can't even go in, let alone fit in a spot. Overall, it's your classic dollar tree. read more

God thought of me when he invented this store. Everything is one dollar and most of the time they are the same brands from a normal pharmacy or supermarket! My favorite section is the decorations. They have amazing decorations at a price I can afford. I have all the best decor for the holidays because dollar tree hooks it up. They have decorations for most major holidays such as Christmas, easter, thanksgiving, valentines day, St. Patrick's day, halloween, etc. Everyone always compliments on my decor from there and that makes me happy. They also have nice vases and drinking glasses for the house. Everything is always organized and well put together. The only reason it is not receiving 5 stars is because the check out lines are slow most of the time. They need more cashiers open especially during peak time (1-8). This is a great place for people who are on a budget and need to get a lot of supplies. They also have a lot of household necessities which comes in handy. I highly recommend dollar tree! This is not your typical 99 cent/dollar store. This Dore is very well organized and there is a variety of merchandise to chose from. I recently started going here because it's nearby my home and is convenient for me. I love the fact that they're open late until 9 PM, most places close at that time. Their staff is very helpful if you need something. The only down side is the cash registers. They always have only one open and a very long line. I don't know about anyone else but when I have a bunch of erands to run I want to be in and out of every store. I have always had a pleasant experience except for the last time that I went in on Sunday, it was very cold and I was just trying to get home. The line was particularly long and the woman that was my cashier was rude. She was nice to everyone before me and when andhe got to me she tossed my items in a bag, asked for my payment and flung my bag at me. I thought it was disrespectful and not great service. In light of recent events I've considered not going back to this store. However, I will go at least one more time as I won't let one bad apple rotten my tree. read more

Great selections, organized and clean. My only complaint would be the wait time for checkout. There's usually only one cashier even though there are lots of people who could jump on a register and back then up. There will even be times when there's a manager and employees talking at another register and not bothering to help with checking out customers read more
