I usually love Ollie's, but unfortunately, this one trip kind of missed the mark. The store was an…read moreabsolute wreck and looked like a bomb went off inside it. On one aisle, there were so many items shoved onto the shelves that you couldn't even tell what they were, and it would have been hopeless to try and sort through them to find one that you liked. In another area of the store, there were just ripped boxes placed on top of a shelf, and again, you couldn't even tell what the merchandise was, and it looked very disorganized. In the rug and carpet section, it was perhaps the most disorganized that I've ever seen a store be, and there was even a carpet sticking out into the aisle, making it impossible to pass through. I know that you don't really go to Ollie's for an organized and aesthetically pleasing shopping experience, but this one trip was a little too excessive. Luckily, this was the first time that this has happened to me at this Ollie's, so I'm hoping that it was just a one-time thing, and I'll still be back in the future.

It was our weekend date night, holiday shopping, family gathering, outdoor walking place to be. Not anymore. Don't blame it on the Pandemic either! It was dead BEFORE Covid hit due to the horrible influx of drugs, crime, and general feeling of unsafe atmosphere. The entire North East area of Columbia has been on a downslope with dropping property values, so I'd not even recommend anyone move to this area, because it will only get worse.

This was my second trip to this location and it has never disappointed. I was able to find some cute little elephant planters as well as some herb gardens and sunflower gardens during both of my visits. This is usually unheard of because the first time I visited it was the end of April right before teacher appreciation week and the second time was the end of May and they still had these items in stock at the dollar spot. I was able to find everything that I needed and the store was made up pretty much like my local store so it was easy to navigate. They were employees readily available throughout the store if I need to ask a question. There was not a long line at the checkout which was very helpful because I was in a rush.
