Trosa is located on Peters Creek Hwy in the Food Lion strip center at the Clemmonsville exit. It's easy to get to and there's plenty of parking which I love. Right inside the door is their whole furniture section, they have tons of tables, chairs, dressers , etc. they even have a whole section of office specific furniture. The prices are very reasonable. This would be a furniture flippers paradise. Towards the back they have shelves of everything from pillows to whole sets of dishes, sports equipment and the most medical mobility equipment I've ever seen anywhere. I'd say, if you are in need of a walker, a bath seat or portable toilet for someone look here because they probably have it at a fraction of the cost it would be to purchase new or rent. The clothing is grouped all together but they aren't keeping it organized as well as it needs to be. All different sizes were mixed in together and I quickly got frustrated and gave up. Both of us had found an item in the kitchen area we wanted so we headed to check out. The workers were very friendly as well. I'll definitely be checking out Trosa regularly in the future. Trosa supports substance abuse treatment. If you want to donate to them, they offer pick up for larger items or you can bring your items to their donation drop off around the back of the store. Just follow the signs.

I continued to walk around and look and saw several staff working diligently. I asked a young lady for assistance and she answered my question but when I needed to be fitted she informed me she was off (it was nice of her to help me the first time) and quickly found someone to help me. This is when I met Ms. Fee who helped me get fitted in a few bras, told me the sales, and made additional suggestions when they didn't have my size in what I was looking for. She was so nice and patient and made my dreadful bra shopping experience much more pleasurable. She had a big smile, worked quickly, and checked on me several times. My check out experience went well too. I had forgotten my wallet at home so it was helpful that they had Apple Pay as a payment option. Overall, this was a great experience as I usually have to wait to get bras when I go out of town.

Three days later, I called the store about 45 minutes before arriving to let them know I was on my way. When I arrived, I immediately saw the rug I had already purchased sitting in a basket. I mentioned that they had already brought my rug up, but an associate insisted it wasn't mine and called the manager to look for it in the back. While they searched, I showed them a photo of the rug and my receipt. They confirmed my purchase was in the system but still couldn't find it. I even walked to the back of the store to show the manager where the rug had been. By the time I returned to the front, the associate had sold my rug to another customer. The rug had been sold twice--even though I had already paid for it days earlier. The manager told me there was nothing they could do except issue a refund. While I got my money back, that did not make up for the wasted trip, the time I spent, or the frustration of having an item I had already purchased sold to someone else. This situation should never have happened. Better communication and inventory control are clearly needed. I expected much better customer service and would not recommend this store based on my experience.

The last time I was here, I found some spray paint for a fraction of what it would cast in Home Depot or Lowes. Who knew I needed spray paint? Even I didn't know until I saw the bargain prices and "had" to have it! My wife doesn't like when I go here because I roam around and look at everything. Why yes, we did need a sushi roller, honey. Who doesn't need one? And guess what? Now we have one! It's a fun place. Go check it out.

It was barely controlled chaos in the store to say the least. It was a Saturday when I swung through, so all of the tourists from the Blue Ridge Parkway were stopping by for their tourist shopping fix. I also had a homemade brownie which had the perfect amount of sweetness and walnut ratio to it. I wanted to try the Possum Pie but just get the nerve up to ask what was in it. I mean it couldn't have been real possum could it? They do have limited outside tables.
