For that reason I love them. The reason I don't love them is because (not exclusive to this location, they're all like this) TJ Maxx is the stuff claustrophobia is made from. And I'm not even claustrophobic. It's great that they have so many things that the store is practically bursting at the seams, but the isles are so narrow that you can barely fit a cart down most of them, and they've got pretty small carts. I can't tell you how many times I've had to abandon all hope of looking down an isle just because someone else was already in it. I say "excuse me" and "I'm sorry" more times in this store than every other place I've ever shopped combined. For this reason I try to shop there during the early morning hours on a weekday, just to avoid getting trapped in an isle by other shoppers or staff just trying to do their job. Again, it's not just this location. Every TJ Maxx is like this. Homegoods as well. I've been to TJ Maxx stores in other cities where they have twice the square footage and the tight layout is the same. This is easily one of my favorite places in Mountain Home to shop for home decor and whatnot, and this is also one of my most dreaded places to shop. I pretty much have to give myself a pep-talk before going inside. Despite the tight quarters, I really do like this store. The staff is super friendly. Prices are great. They get in some really amazing things. I just wish the isles were wide enough to accommodate more than one person at a time.

We both found quite a few new outfits, for very affordable prices and good quality shoes that would have cost double the price at most other stores. The lady in the dressing room area was a little awkward and didn't smile but the rest of the staff was very nice, especially the woman who rang us up when we checked out. She was bubbly and sweet. They have a really great selection of clothes for women, but I would say it's mostly a woman store. There isn't as much of a selection for men and youngsters but it's perfect for a lady's shopping day. They also have an isle with a good selection of natural vitamins and supplements, which I thought was pretty neat.

Was checking out another customer that customer was paying for his stuff. The cashier speaks up and says to my son and I there's no waiting on 1. So I tell my son to go to 1 and check out his stuff as I already had my stuff on the belt at register 2. The cashier gets really huffy and becomes very hateful. She starts ringing up my stuff. I had some pillows that were a 2 pack. The cashier picks them up opens the bag and scans both pillows. I nicely pointed out that it was a 2 pack. She loudly and hatefully says well there's no barcode on the bag what do you want me to do! How much are they supposed to be! By this time the other cashier came over and told her she only had to scan one pillow. So the cashier checking out my stuff. Hatefuly slams around the rest of my purchases. It was a very unpleasant experience and I will never shop at this store again!

This is the cleanest, most organized, stocked, and wonderful Walmart I've ever been to. I could…read morehave spent 3 hours in here. There are many things that my local Walmart doesn't carry. I saw many items that made me think that this must be a test location, but I couldn't find that information. The aisles are very wide and everything is well lit. It feels like a mixture of Walmart, Target, and Best Buy. I plan on going back just to shop around. It reminds me of Walmart in the 90s when people still had pride in their work. Sure the system was affordable but it definitely wasn't worth the purchase it's pretty obvious that y'all don't check the systems that come into your store. The store was very busy and only one (1) cashier, while the line had twelve (12) customers with carts full of products. I notice the only cashier was trying best she could but couldn't keep up. The store Manager Lucinda and another employee was standing in the isle watching, and doing nothing but ignoring people turning to them HOPING we could get some help. To NO AVAIL. When I got home I called and talked with Lucinda asking her why she didn't offer to help. She said it wasn't necessary because there wasn't enough to be CONCERNED ABOUT. I asked her for the district manager's name so I could contact him/her. She told me she didn't have one at the time because they were all moving around. I find that very difficult to believe. I then asked if she could give me company headquarters, to which she replied ."find it yourself". If this is the kind of help your company provides YOUR IN BIG TROUBLE. . He and his crew were very professional, efficient, and took great care of all my furnishings. They were able to move my mother's grand piano to a very challenging spot. Mike's price was very reasonable and worth every penny. I would not hesitate to call Chuck's again should I need a moving company.
