You can also find everything from pens, to hats, to signs and household decorations. The friendly staff make it a pleasure to shop there. My family members and I bought t-shirts, a hoodie and a charm. More often than not, we contribute some business to this store. While not always crowded, you can always find someone perusing what TGs has to offer.

I found the cutest swimsuit top and it was somewhere around $70! I did give in and bought some Reef cushiony flip flops (and my mom bought a pricey pair as well). They were $40 which is what you would expect to pay for Reef...three hours into wearing the shoes, the cushion part started ripping and after 2 days it looks like I've had these beat up flippies for years! Technically I can't be mad at the store, but rather should be more mad at Reef. It is really, really frustrating though. Overall, though, they have a wide variety of (expensive) clothes, stuff for guys, girls, kids, home decor, lots of shoes, knick-knacks, jewelry and more. Also, the salesgirl shamelessly plugged Charlotte Plummes as a great place to get lunch at. Apparently the two places are affiliated/owned by the same people. It turned out alright, though, because we did have a great lunch there...but something doesn't sit right with me when one pair of flip flops costs the same as lunch (which included 2 alcoholic drinks)

This is the cleanest and most organized Walmart I've ever been to in years!…read more My family and I were vacationing in Rockport, TX and as per usual we forgot to bring a couple items with us. We decided to check out Walmart since we had a feeling we were going to be able to find everything we were missing in there. My first impression walking in to the store was how clean everything was. Compared to other Walmart stores, this one has a wider range of outdoor stuff like fishing gear, swimming items and other outdoor stuff. They also have a nice selection of fresh produce and other home items. My only note is that the shopping carts are very rusty due to the sea environment. However it is a little scary to put your child inside a rusty cart. Just keep that in mind when visiting with a child.

When o asked the day person in charge he stated that the out the flag up there so they could direct people to the bathrooms. Really! He said people were "Stupid and couldn't read"! Highly disappointed in Castaways! No one seemed to know who was in charge of the six church group that sponsored Castaways! Personally the display of the flag is disrespectful and unpatriotic! All Veterans should consider shopping somewhere else! Arrived at Castaways early Morning on July 2025. Our favorite place to look for great deals at at a reasonable cost for a worthy cause. The only complaint I have, as a Veteran, is the display of the U.S. Flag. The American Flag is displayed above and to the right of the Bathroom. Personally, I would consider that display to dishonor the flag and what it stands for. Perhaps the person who was told to put it up did not take into account what was underneath the Flag, an honest mistake! I would hope that the Manager of Castaways would look into this matter and place the flag in a place showing Dignity and respect. Signed a Veteran!

We were coming from DFW, we had quite the drive to get to Rockport. We had been on the road an…read morehour, and came to a stand still on the highway. I worried we weren't going to make it, before HEB curbside closed. So, I called curbside and Carolyn answered. She told me not to worry, just get here. I told her I'd check in, a half hour before they closed. Which is nice here, because they don't stop curbside until 10p! At home it's 9p. We checked in as promised, and again Carolyn answered. We told her our gps showed our arrival as 9:50! She is so sweet, she stated, not to worry that, she would wait until 10:15, if we were not there by 9:50! How sweet and thoughtful is that?! She said, she knew we were coming from out of town and that we'd need our groceries tonight and didn't want us to have to return in the am to pick up. We arrived at 9:50! When we checked in Carolyn was so sweet and understanding. Just as kind, polite, friendly and patient as you can imagine. The fact that it was so late, I imagined she was probable exhausted from being on her feet and in this crazy heat all day. But you would never have known, she was so happy to see us. She walked out to greet us, with our order and she had the biggest smile on her face Carolyn wouldn't even let us help her load the groceries, as we felt bad we were so late! We use curbside a lot, several times a week. We've never had anyone come out to greet us, so happy go lucky to deliver our groceries to our car. After Carolyn loaded us up with care, she welcomed us to Rockport and sent us on our way!

Brand spanking new,it replaces the small original arts center in the marina, destroyed by Hurricane Harvey. This is an impressive structure for a small town. Built to withstand hurricane conditions,the cement and steel piers go down 60 feet to hit bed rock. The two story modern structure is archetectally appealing,roomy, comfortable and operated by a caring staff. 3 large galleries with one dedicated to local artist . Don't miss this treasure if you're in Rockport. Go!

Ryoichi Suzuki's sculptures were such a wonderful surprise, and I'm so excited that Susie Black will be the featured artist at the festival in July! I'm so thrilled to now own this sunglass case. It's too beautiful to use! The student art display was another highlight--there was a piece on cats and another on dogs, and I adored both. The detail in each work was amazing. These young artists are incredibly talented. I can't wait to go back. I'm also including a video of the area and some of the beautiful murals that surround the art center, so you can see the whole area and get the whole experience. What a wonderful place to visit!
