The store, like most Ingles, is a bit dated and worn. The brand is not known for shiny new and updates stores, so this location is definitely "classic". Since I was traveling, I stayed in the interior aisles and picked up a few snacks and staples that I needed, saved me a trip closer to home. I will say that Ingles is a bit pricey compared to other grocery stores, surprisingly so on majority of the items I scoped, fresh food and all. Check out was okay. The cashier was nice, but not "friendly" or engaging. I get it is a transaction, and it definitely felt just as such. Overall, I get the need and dependence on this location for the local community. Store looks decent conditionally and the sales floor appears fairly clean. The parking lot needs some attention as there is trash scattered through out and overflowing trash cans. All items I was after were in stock, however the personal items I wanted had cut packaging, clearly from when the stocker was opening the case and sliced the product packaging.
