My only complaint regarding the classes is that the children's classes are offered primarily in the summer. We homeschool, and we would love to have access to year-round children's classes. Edited to add: My husband and daughter took a parent-child ceramics class at River Oaks when my daughter was about 2 1/2 years old. She's now 6 1/2 - to my knowledge, they've yet to do another class like that (with younger children). I really wish they'd consider starting parent-child classes again. Both my daughter and husband had a blast and still speak fondly of the time they spent together there.

There used to be a large food court, but the only thing in there now is a Chick-fil-A and I don't eat that. The only anchor stores that remain are JC Penney and Dillards; the rest are gone leaving only local stores and kiosks. Gone are my favorite stores: Caplan's, Weiss & Goldring, KB Drugs, and so many more. I don't see this mall being open in five more years, which saddens me.

I found Louisiana Cypress Swings & Things Inc also on the Internet and was a little skeptical since I didn't know them and having a bad experience before left me to wonder, but I assure you Louisiana Cypress Swings & Things Inc are the real McCoy! When I sent in my order, Alice sent a message back saying it would be delayed by a week or 2 (can't remember) I think because of the holidays and back orders. So I waited and waited. well nothing showed up, so I sent in another E-mail and explained what had happened to me in the past (and I don't have problems ordering on the Internet, EVER) and I was assured it would be delivered. Well I felt bad because it had arrived that very day, just after I hit the send button!!! So I sent another E-mail back to apologize and that I did in fact receive the bench. It was about 90% assembled and you just have to put the last part together since it is shipped flat (this one in 2 boxes). They even give you the square driver for the screws too. I would say that being a woodworker, this was about an 8 to 8.5 as there were a couple of screws that were not in properly but ok. I did make a minor mod in that I wanted the back to lean a little more and that brought up the front a little more too which is more relaxing to me, and had to drill 2 more holes where the steel rocker arms mounted instead of using the existing holes. That worked great. We like this glider bench (5 foot length) because it has a movable cup holder in the center. Comes in handy at times. Also enough room for some snacks. Kinda like a pull out tray. Thanks Louisiana Cypress Swings & Things Inc. Our outside cat also likes to sit there with us (as long as we don't have the drink table folded down!)

I brought one inside through the front door, but the manager halted my progress, citing maintenance as the reason I couldn't use the cart. It's clear that shoppers must have the ability to carry their items by hand if they wish to purchase anything at Marshall's. How unfortunate for those who need a buggy to shop with. I've been seating in the parking lot for 15 minutes and they haven't even worked on one buggy, that's even more pathetic‼. They Whoever heard of taking all buggies out of service at one time‼
