This store is the worst Circle K I have ever stepped in. It smells like someone has vomited all…read moreover. Makes you sick to your stomach immediately. To my understanding from my 1st visit over a month ago, it is something to do with the sewer lines. I feel horrible for the employees. That is something that no one should have to endure. I couldn't stand to be in there for more than 5 minutes let alone an 8 hour shift. I stopped in again thinking that for sure the company would have taken care of that situation. Nope, smacked right in the face with that's good awful stench again. Shame on you Circle K, with as many stores and as much money as you make should be #1 on your list. I will be filing a complaint to your corporate office considering it is 4 hours later and I'm still sick to my stomach and the only posts you respond to on here are good ratings. This store has been through so many different generations…read more. This last visit was a good one. I planned on running to the store and grabbing a bag of ice. Which I still didn't leave with. I ran in to about 2 relatives, 3 friends, and then 2 people I faintly remembered, and one I wish I could forget. The store is small but still has that same appeal on me as it did when I was very young. People just hanging out on the corner, not like here in Chicago, but people who stand and drink coffee in the morning. People who hold the door for you to go in and people who do nothing but come to bless you with a smile and a greeting. Some things we miss when you move to a large city from a small town. The prices are still very competitive and the offer a smaller variety than a couple of the other stores but they make up for that in customer service... Kudos! I would totally recommend.

I haven't lived in the area in over a decade but I still visit from time to time. The lines are short. The people are friendly and still a bit on the nosey side. But there's really nothing else going on in a small town. So, no harm no foul. The produce and products are very good quality. I cant complain. The store had everything I wanted and a few other things at a very reasonable price. Or at least it was based on the prices of food for where I live now.. I had a Ghost in the Machine (Parish Brewing) which is a great IPA from Broussard, LA. Plus, you can bring the beer to Mercury Pizza next door (see the review of a 5 star pizza place).

The service was friendly enough and I would say that it was an overall positive experience. If you are in the area, I would definitely recommend this particular Love's Travel Stop.

Love's is probably my favorite truck stop outside of a Buc-ee's, though I also dig TA, QT and Pilot. Love's has good road coffee. Probably my favorite. That's important. Not badly priced and huge cups too. Me likee. In addition to clean restrooms, the coffee area is also kept clean here. This is also important as I'm sure it gets a regular workout. I can only speak to the coffee and the restrooms here. Alas, the trinkets and tchotchkes within are also terrific. Lots to look at as you sip your piping hot caffeinated beverage and contemplate the literal and maybe even metaphorical road ahead.
