I tried to purchase a product that was not available at this store. I went to customer service the girl did not know how to check if other Publix in the city carry product. She at least got the grocery manager. He did not know how to check other stores. Said he can request the product and can call me when they get the product. That was waste of my time. How are employees not trained to use an application to cross reference other stores to help locate a product if it is available. Now I have to manually drive to each Publix to see for myself. This is how companies lose business to their competitors. There has to be some training done by district managers to lower management and to front store staff as well. I'm very disappointed

Instead of trying to understand my request or offering alternatives, he repeatedly raised his voice and kept telling me that I was insisting on something they could not make. The conversation left me feeling upset and unappreciated as a loyal customer. Ironically, they still accepted my order for a Tres Leches two-layer cake with one vanilla layer and one chocolate layer, with cream in between. That made it even more confusing why my original request was supposedly impossible. I still believe this bakery is one of the best in the area, which makes this experience even more disappointing. However, the way I was treated by Felix will make me think twice before ordering another cake here, and I would hesitate to recommend the bakery to others based on this experience. I browsed around some other aisles for some snacks to bring back to the room. I noticed that they didn't really have too many "sale" items. I'm used to Kroger/Safeway where they have deals like 2 for $5.00 and such. Most stuff here seemed regular priced, which in todays world=expensive! I did pick up some pretzel nuggets and some popcorn I had not seen before. The store was nice and clean and looked super new (I know its new). Would this be my regular grocery store? Probably not. As per their policy, you have to put a quarter in to retrieve your shopping cart but you get it back when you return the cart. This location had way more stock than my usual location. The shelves, refrigerators, and freezers were organized. That also made my experience enjoyable to shop. I made my way to checkout and they had all the cashiers taking care of customers and 4 self-checkouts that were with no clients and all were working That was where I went due to the lines being too long it was a very busy day for them. FYI: Aldi charges 10 cents per shopping bag. They tell you about their effort to protect the environment. They also have a long area stretched in the front of the stores, where you can utilize the space to pack your groceries in your bags. I purchased what I needed, many of their products are not filled with preservatives and are very reasonable in price. They also offer an abundance of vegan, gluten-free, keto, and vegetarian products. This was my third location I have visited and I will definitely be back to Aldi!
