It seems like the Walmart Neighborhood Marts have transitioned from moving into old grocery stores into building brand new locations. Which leads them to have brand new, brightly lit, nice looking grocery. But apparently it leads them to configure this unlike any other grocery I have been to. Besides the building itself, the biggest difference between this location and others I have been to was the produce. They had an abundance of beautiful fruits and veggies. I was shocked at how good everything looked. With Winn-Dixie now closed across the street and Publix still being on the pricey end, it looks like this is my family's new go-to when in Dothan.

I live in the DMV so I called this store and asked if it'd be okay for my parents to come through and get a patio set on me. They were very understanding of the situation and they helped my parents very quickly. My parents are deaf so I was on FaceTime with my dad to help everyone out in the situation. I shop at Big Lots locally and the two stores near my parents in the Panhandle have been temporarily closed so I was happy that they had the option to not only drive to Dothan but had a team willing to help them. This location showed 3 in stock only to find out the day I was supposed to pick up their inventory is wrong and they have none. No one bothered to even notify me they cancelled my order I had to call there to find out I would have to wait another week making my 20% off online coupon expire. The furniture manager at the Dothan location John was unbelievably helpful and was able to get me exactly the set I wanted. He was also able to honor my online order with the 20% off coupon the same day i called him. He made my day and was beyond helpful. I will continue to go out of my way to go to this location for any more furniture because of John's excellent customer service.

They have a wide variety in terms of selection but while browsing, my husband and I found nothing that suited our taste buds. This isn't to say that this is a bad place to shop. For the prices that they were charging, I was expecting items a little less dated. Coming from LA, we have large strips of furniture places so the selection is plentiful. I've noticed people opening them to get the new ones before they're outdated. As I type this mid-January, Halloween decorating magazines are still out, Christmas cooking and decor magazines still in boxes. One female staffer snapped at me for looking through open boxes of unshelved mags that "she's working on it!" This mystery worker was nowhere in sight. Why didn't the snapping staffer work on it instead of walking around biting at customers? On the plus side, there are probably a dozen different Harry Styles magazines everywhere and up at checkout counters so if you're into that silliness, you'll be pleased to know what they prioritize. Not a store for serious readers.
