Really though, I like coming to this Walmart because it reminds me of the one I had in my hometown growing up. It's tiny, has no true grocery section, and the design has some touches that are closer to the 80s than today. Those are plusses in my book. Oh, and they actually keep their check stands staffed for the most part throughout the day. Try finding that in your Supercenter of choice.

Not bad for a grocery store that carries a wide selection of groceries, household essentials, bath…read moreproducts and a deli. The deli items were typical of any grocery store that doesn't specialize in hot foods. The beef brisket was dry on the exterior and tender on a small area of the interior. The battered okra was okay but the sausage in barbecue sauce was pretty tasty. I was impressed to find La Brea breads in the bakery. Our cashier in the express lane lacked enthusiasm but did his job.

I assumed she would simply leave to grab her wallet, but the cashier's assistant offered to pay for the meal. While I initially thought this was a kind gesture, it quickly turned offensive. The employee commented on how "skinny" my 18-year-old daughter is, using her body as a pretext for the "charity." We are more than capable of paying for our own food, and it was incredibly inappropriate and unprofessional for this employee to use a helping hand as an excuse to body-shame my daughter and make derogatory remarks under the guise of religious righteousness. As a family of color, we felt targeted and disrespected. I was appalled by this behavior and urge management to address this hypocrisy and lack of professionalism.

Awesome! I need these!

Not too long ago, this dogfood was $13. Then, it went up to $16. Now here we are, in August of 2023, at $21. That's crazy! $8 jump!
