I remember the old times of when Piggly Wiggly was all over throughout small towns…read more I was made aware that this location was going to be closed permanently as of 7/31/25 so we decided to make a trip to shop at this location and remember how it was back in the day. The store was having 50% of produce and 30% off everything else. This sounded good but after checking other stores like Walmart and Aldi there really wasn't any savings after the closeout prices. It's sad that the store is closing and loosing employees but Piggly Wiggly should really get more competitive on prices if they want to stay in business. The store was really nice and clean and the employees were helpful even though they knew today was their last day of business. I hope they are able to find a job that makes up for the lose. We did have a nice visit overall.

This grocery store is tidy, well stocked and has a great variety of just about everything I wanted that will last me not just tonight and tomorrow morning in the RV but the next couple of days as I head through Western Arkansas and Eastern Oklahoma. Parking lot was clean of trash, the store was decently lit and the shelves were nicely leveled. Prices looked to be quite moderate. I used the self-checkout today and it worked fine. Terrible customer service . They act as though you are imposing on them when you check out , don't…read moredare ask where something is located, they give you a death stare. It's very irritating. The store is always a mess. Nothing is where it's supposed to be. I've waited in line to check out for at least 30-40 minutes before only to still be talked down to when I was finally able to check out. Their inventory is a joke, always out of stuff they should always have in stock , Muldrow Dollar store is so much better. The cashiers at the Roland store are rude beyond belief. I feel bad for the new cashiers, they are so nice , usually they're gone within a week of so , but , if they stay, they're just as rude as the ones that trained them. I just hate handing my money to someone that rude and disrespectful.
