I…read morestopped in here a few weeks ago to check it out despite not going to places like this often because of things being overpriced and overcrowded with things. I was really impressed by the quality of things she had to offer. There were some truly unique finds that were so cool that I almost wondered if I could wear a bell bottom jumper with Paisley patterns. There was also a very strange purse that was completely beaded with oddly colors and kind of creepy looking cats. I was intrigued but decided maybe the neon cats would better serve someone else. She also has some art by local artists and interesting jewelery and trinkets. A friend got me a hilarious pillow from there that was a tomatoe wearing stockings and shoes. The prices were very reasonable to me. The more expensive things were the very unique items you would have a hard time finding anywhere else. Of course it won't be as cheap as Good Will, but these clothes are legit vintage. If you like these sorts of things I highly recommend checking it out!

The German Shepherd says he needs some money for home renovations, so the surprised new bank officer asks if he has any collateral. The canine offers up this antique artsy-fartsy thing saying it's worth a lot of money, he got it at On and On Milwaukee for much less than it's actually worth because the prices at this antique store are so reasonable. The lending officer is at a loss, this just wasn't covered in her extensive training so she excuses herself to see the bank manager for advice. She tells him "there's a German Shepherd who can talk who wants money for some renovation work, but all he has to secure it is this vintage thing I don't even know what it is, what should I do?" So the manager tells her, "It's a knick knack Patty Black, give the dog a loan." I'm sorry I don't actually know if they allow dogs in here, talking or not. They do sell all sorts of unusual art and antiques at very reasonable prices and it's right next to a wonderful wine bar and an excellent coffee shop.

I was very pleased with the knowledge shared, the inventory on hand, and the suggestions about new styles coming in. My brother has also been looking for a shop to discuss repair options for his felt fedora. Learning what they could do opened doors I was worried had closed for him. I left with a new hat to replace one that my own ignorance had allowed to become damaged beyond repair. Apparently, the old one still has a future in the garden! At first I was surprised and thought that I should say something to them, like "hey how are you doing" etc. However, they never stopped talking amongst the 4 of them - so much so that if I had said anything I would have felt like I was interrupting them! It was very disappointing and unusual - they didn't even take time to say have a good day or anything when I left. There was a Desigual t-shirt that I wanted to try on and purchase but I decided I wasn't going to give them my business since I had felt unwelcome and ignored. I went home and ordered online.
