Can only comment on the deli pizza bar at this Ingles. Stopped by a little past 11 AM after a doc…read moreappointment and fancied a slice of pizza since I'd skipped breakfast. It's usually made fresh daily and shoppers can stop by and choose a slice of cheese, pepperoni, supreme, or veggie at $3/slice or 2/$5. Well, there were no pizzas in sight on the pizza stones under the warming lights. After standing at the counter for about 4 minutes (enough time for my spouse to fill a container of salad from the salad bar), a clerk appeared to take my order. "Pizza please," I said. She disappeared and another clerk yelled to me inside the deli area that it would be ready in 10 minutes. So I patiently waited, thinking the cook/s would offer 2 pizzas - half supreme and half pepperoni and half cheese and half veggie. That way I might have my choice of any of the 4 varieties. When the nice clerk I had not seen before delivered the 1 pizza to the stone behind the counter, she asked, You want cheese or pepperoni?" My choice would have been 1 slice of cheese and 1 slice of vegetarian (the 2/$5), but alas, that was impossible. I settled for 2 slices of cheese. While the paper-thin crust was crunchy and cooked perfectly, the topping was another story. It tasted as though one of the cooks had loaded the sauce with handfuls of oregano. Thankfully a decent amount of melted mozzarella covered the top but clearly not enough to mask the strong herbal taste. I ate most of one slice because I was hungry (I washed it down with sips of water) and took the other home so I could remove the topping, add my own cheese and pop it in the toaster oven.

The manager at the front with the short hair he's an older man was so rude. Two young girls who worked there (they had name tags on) were buying a chair. One of them went to say that another manager had told them something about the chair and the manager responded "I know just let me do my job" and she said "I'm trying to tell you..." and he cut her off. He said "I have 7 people trying to tell me how to do my job just let me do it." and she said "let me speak" he then said "youre making this difficult" and she then replied "it'd be easier if I could just talk." to which then he just kept saying "ok ok ok I will figure it out." DISGUSTING. I can't imagine the way the employees are treated by him and how he treats customers. He is so rude and I truly hope something gets done about this. I didn't even want him to check me out in line 3 where he was standing so I waited for the young lady at 1. The interaction was horrible and I am proud of that young girl for telling him to stop cutting her off and to let her speak.
