Tonight, my husband and I had a horrible experience with a cashier named Justin (curly orange hair). He insisted that both of us needed to be ID'd to purchase alcohol despite the fact that only my husband was the one purchasing. That would've been fine, but after complying with his request we just were saying how we get rules are rules, but that we thought the rule was a little stupid. He then proceeded to get a nasty attitude and he refused to sell to us. When I told both of the managers Kiersten and another gm (that i didn't catch the name of); Kiersten was not apologetic for her employees behavior and seemed very apathetic/indifferent towards my complaint. The second manager seemed more professional and heard me out and said he would talk with Justin. I'm mostly disappointed that neither of them thought to apologize for the situation and offer to ring us up on a different register. After the experience, we went to Krogers down the road. Had a great experience with a cashier Alexandria. 10/10 would recommend shopping at Kroger's.

Finding them neither with the vegetables or with the alternative milks or with the coffee-based mixed drinks, I assumed they didn't have any of this sort of item, only to find a small freestanding cooler that did have some, but not quite the price or selection that I was hoping after all that searching. Similarly, some elements of the fruit and vegetable section didn't quite have everything I was hoping for. This store also had a longer wait in line than I would have expected despite three registers running. There were still some good quality food items to be had, but trying to shop comprehensively at Fresh Market often leaves me a bit frustrated.
