Great stop if you're in the area. I try to go at least once every year. Depending on the weekend…read moreand time you arrive, you may be searching for a parking spot and have a bit of a wait to an open parking spot. There is the main entrance right off hwy 59 and another around back. A few must tries as you will most likely be there for several hours are the lemonade stand, mini donuts, and kettle corn. The lemonade stand has several flavors and I believe $5/cup. Great on a sunny day! They offer meal options as well from a central building, sometimes with a food truck in attendance too. The stands have a nice variety of clothing, jewelry, toys, furniture, indoor and outdoor decor, tools, and vintage items. You're bound to find something for everyone. With any flea market, prices can vary from booth to booth. Some are very reasonable and some are on the pricier side. What would you pay for a vintage treasure or handmade item? On my most recent visit on June 19th, 2021, there were a lack of stands on the one side of the shady hollow lot. At this time, around 1-2% of people I saw were wearing masks. I was told there were several more stands around Memorial day. Perhaps it will be more full around 4th of July? Regardless, there was a great variety of items and I got to pick up a few unique items. I'm excited to see what I pick up on my next visit here!

Love this place and we were so happy to see it opened on Memorial Weekend as it has every year…read moresince FOREVER. Some vendors were cautious and some were a tad silly with require people to put hand sanitizer on their hands prior to entering the tiny building. Yet no mask was required to enter. Definitely was no social distancing, as the place was packed. Some new building were raised so a lot of new things to look at. Several food vendors were there also.

Are we in heaven?!…read more I'm from out of town and I've been wanting to pop into Lundeen's for a while now with the expectation that it was just a cute little small town stationery shop. No big deal. It looks tiny on the outside, but the further in you go, the more this shop unfolds into a huge emporium of scintillating goodies. When I walked in, there were books. Books?! Gorgeous childrens' books, (millennial) classics I haven't seen for sale in ages (I Spy, The Rainbow Fish, Where's Waldo), there were beautiful cookbooks, chic plant books, educational books, bird books, frog books, books wrapped up in gift paper ready to be someone's surprise read (Blind Date with a Book!), and two little childrens' reading nooks up a couple of stairs at the front of the store! After the books there were games, toys, puzzles, candy, gifts. And then I realized, this place is HUGE. In the back of the store there's a full on Office Depot situation but only the good stuff, plus a print shop. Ink, paper, cardstock, accounting pads, payroll sheets, carbon paper, large poster boards, folders, pens, highlighters, calculators, clips, tacks, and knick knacks. Prismacolor pencils! The good erasers. The good pencil sharpeners. Graph paper. Transfer paper. Sketch pads. Velum! Fine point markers. Like, high end art store stuff. And then. And THEN. I looked to the side of the store and there ANOTHER opening to a jewelry store! And once you go in there, you see an entirely other part of this store that is just as big as the place you just walked out of. Oh yeah, the stationery! They've got beautiful art on single pieces or card sets, but they've got purses, wallets, decor, kitchen stuff, seasonal towels, aprons, plates, mugs, souvenirs, lip gloss, candles, hot pepper jelly, a whole aisle of Burt's Bees, more kid stuff; they even have a little room dedicated to the clearance section. I don't know a lot about this shop, but I can only assume some of this is locally made and a bunch of vendors have their stuff there? Anyway, budget a couple hours and go peruse this place. The shopping here rivals boutiques in the big city, but with all the charm of Fergus Falls.

There is a problem here. Recently a good friend stopped in…read moreto purchase an item. He saw a wallet on the ground in the parking lot. Being the HONEST and caring person who would go out of his way to help anyone. He picked the wallet up and took it directly into the store and gave it to the checkout person. He never opened it He simply said, I'm betting someone will be missing this. Some time later, days later I believe, he is contacted by Perham Police and accused of basically stalking this lady and watching and following her to the parking lot apparently knowing she will drop her wallet and drive away. After watching her leave. He supposedly grabs the wallet that he magically knew she would drop. Then puts it under his arm and or in his inside jacket pocket which does not exist. And without ever opening the wallet he magically removes the cash and as any thief would do, takes the wallet directly into cashier who had just seen his name on his debit card that he used to buy his item. There is security camera footage of his truck in the parking lot and I believe him picking up the wallet and heading towards the store. He did place the item he purchased under his arm briefly. There should be video of this lady entering. You would think video at the checkout ? And video of her leaving and dropping her wallet. Or maybe she left it at the checkout and whoever took the money dropped it in the parking lot. The customer was an elderly lady. It seems odd that she would have $600 in her wallet. I'm curious what she bought and what she used to pay. The fact that the wallet was on the ground in the parking lot means something happened. Did the employee that opened it for ID see a bunch of cash and snatch it ? I don't know. There again, where is the complete video ? One thing I know. Honesty and doing the right thing should not get a good man charged with a felony. The Perham Police should know better. The OTC prosecutor should know better. And The thrift store should be taking a long hard look at their staff and their security. This just WRONG !
