I emailed the Selma store and Jimmy called me that very same day to let me know they had a vase identical to the one I broke. He graciously held it for me for several days until I could get over there from Montgomery to pay and pick it up. While there, I browsed. The Selma store is large and has a great selection of furniture and accessories. Thank you, Jimmy and Chir!

For a pharmacy, the prices of everyday items are quite reasonable and they've recently added a self checkout to speed things along. The pharmacy drive thru will be a hit or a miss as the pharmacy techs that work the window are at times rushing you and aren't always the nicest. But for the most part they are ok. All in all this pharmacy is a good place.

No one anaswered so I went to the pizza window and found someone. Turns out she is supposed to be the one working the store counter as well. She seemed inconvenienced that she has to stop doing whatever she was doing.

The staff at the checkout counter were friendly and helpful. And the best was yet to come. We made our way to the outdoor plants and flowers. As soon as I opened the door I was assaulted with the, "Everything you see is so expensive you probably shouldn't touch it just in case you break it. Oh, and if you have kids, tie their hands to their sides or you'll spend your life savings" type feeling. It's not one I enjoy. The lady behind the counter smiled and greeted me, but seemed to think that either a) I was going to steal something or b) I really was clumsy enough to bust it all. I left shortly after I arrived. There are other, better choices for specialty foods and cookware. In their defense, they did have some neat Japanese cook/serveware, but I'm not sure I could bring myself to buy it since I can go to a large city or the internetz and pay half of what they charged. Either way, you decide. =]

Decent selection of cookware, if you've been to Mary's Kitchen Port on the far side of Front Street you've probably seen a bit of the same or similar merchandise. Nice service, okay selection. Good luck to them. ** The name: I had to ask, curiousity was killing me. The owner or co-owner said it is named after their three sons who are "three skinny dudes." Now, how about that. I just wanted to make sure it was not some sort of low-fat gimmick like I feared it would be, I hate that *@!#. So, thankfully it is just a family thing. Also, I'd place them between moderate and pricey but if you can't find something there, they might have it or they'd be willing to order it if they can (we were looking for unbleached teabags, they didn't have any but said they could order them for the next week if we wanted).

I am cool with employees who say hey when you come in the store, but I personally (as well as friends who have come with me) feel like the employees are over the top with conversation. They come and ask about all these different things like school and where I've been shopping, and I'm just there to look at clothes. I hate to say it, but it's the truth. They're as sweet as they can be, and pretty helpful if I have a question about items, but let me breath.
