That said, this location seems to have issues getting and keeping employees and has since they opened within the last few years. And the ones they do have right now? Kind of rude, they hide in the back, and you don't see them until they see they need to ring people out. There's 3 self checkout registers and none of them are ever open; I used them twice during the first 3 months of this location being open, never to have used them again, resulting in some INSANE lines as they make the single employee check out everyone on a tiny lil' counter that doesn't fit more than 3 items at a time on it (this is true for ALL of their registers/counters; that one is actually the biggest one). My biggest peeve is the young man with dark brown/black hair. Taller, average build. I just heard him ask an obviously disabled (judging not only by her speaking and demeanor, but noticeable scarring all over her body as well) girl why she shopped the way she did, grabbing many items only to need to buy only a few. I swore she was going to cry. All in all, a decent store. No problems with the store itself beyond checkout, really. The employee issue has been an ongoing problem since day one it seems, though.

This was like a little grocery store but also had some decor items, baby items(diapers,food,wipes) Holiday items, ect.... There is tons of parking and self check out for a quick in and out! Overall I will use this place in a pinch, but I still prefer dollar tree for quick and cheap items.

There are greeting cards for a dollar that look far more expensive, a few toiletries like major brand deodorant, but household cleaning supplies is where I found the steeper prices. Dawn dish washing detergent in the smaller condensed bottle was $1.65 compared to $1 at Dollar Tree. Since there is no Target or other large store on the Hwy 8 stretch I would say this is a great value and convenient place for the locals.

The older woman cashier was striking up an odd conversation with the woman in front of me, using hmmm and suggestive language to imply they didn't want me to know what or who they were talking about. I didn't pay it too much mind, as they might know each other. However when she rang up my items she was completely silent , no hello, no thank you, only told me the final price. When the Caucasian woman behind me was being serviced she turned back on, said hello, asked how she was and was all of a sudden pleasant. I'm new to Minnesota and chose to move here because of the kindness I have received in general. These BLATANT racist encounters with retail and service staff break my heart and I wish it would stop. I say hello and look to be pleasant with others. I won't be returning to this location and hope this serves as a lesson to others to be aware of how you treat other people at all times.

It was night and day difference to the dollar stores that I have been to. This one was neat, clean, organized and the shelves were faced with product. This is way any store should be. The people from Farmington store would look at this one to see how it is done. I was so pleasantly surprised by the care and cleanliness that I may come here instead on the one in my town. They are bigger here with a better selection and they wore masks to keep everyone safe. I will be back. Being laid off during Covid makes you look for ways to save a buck, I highly recommend stopping here to look around. You will be surprised. I was also surprised that it wasn't on Yelp, I had to add it!!
