This gas station has two main issues : A manager with a…read moredrinking problem and a area supervisor who doesn't care. Ever notice they are always hiring..... well let me tell you why I come to the gas station regularly for the last couple years at evening/ night and the store has had some really good workers. They are friendly and sociable and do their job well. And then they quit, often . They are overworked on thirds from second shift doing nothing. Whenever they need help with cashier issues the manager never answers her phone. We've sat in line while one employee couldn't get access to the cash register and the manager kept sending the phone calls to voicemail until one of us called her from a number she didn't know . Guy 1: quit because he had another job and couldn't work over his hours and Sara didn't show up to replace him for work. Guy 2 : frustrated that Sara asked him to cover a shift and she didn't show up to replace him. Guy 3: Sarah showed up drunk with a friend to the gas station after he got stuck working a second and third shift. Girl 1 : was pregnant and needed coverage for a few different shifts she was sick during and Sarah didn't answer her phone but showed up later drunk and ignored her. One of the customer went to meijer and got her some meds to help out . Also reported issues to Ryan who ignored the whole situation. Girl 2 : hours weren't correct for her check and Sara refused to fix them because the employee called her out for not showing up to train a new employee . Girl 3: too many hours and being left on multiple shifts because of no shows and Sara not answering the phone . Guy 4: luckily had previous training because no one showed up to help train him on thirds . He quit Becuase anytime he needed help he couldn't get it from her. This continues on so every couple weeks there are new employees . You'd think corporate would be concerned enough to audit and check in with all the people who quit but nothing . I'm impressed that after all that no one sees a pattern of bad management . Oh well, at the new gas station will look better than it'll be managed . Yep

This store has the most disgusting bottle return I have ever seen; the touch screens are never cleaned, and it smells awful. This store does not stock items that ARE available at other Meijer locations, but (via e-mail) say these items are "not available". That's okay - the Spartan Store just up the street carries these items. This store is ALWAYS filthy - from the entrance, to the bottle return, to the grocery (refrigerated) aisles, to the deli. Don't bother sending in a response to their 'how did we do?' emails. They don't care.

I was greeted when I walked in and a salesperson stopped by as I was looking around to ask if I was finding things okay. They have a pretty large selection of women's shoes as well as lots of sale shoes towards the back. You can also find accessories like socks and purses as well as knickknack type toys, etc. towards the front checkout. I was able to find the shoes I wanted fairly quickly, but they were a little limited in my size (6-6.5). I think you can have them order different sizes and get them shipped to you. They have a rewards program where you can earn points. The shoes I went with were cheaper at DSW than on Amazon. Overall I like DSW and think they have a good selection of different styles. It's nice to be able to try stuff on in person, especially shoes. Parking in this area is a bit of a nightmare as the parking lot is always crowded and it's not laid out very well.

This is a bigger DSW with a great selection for women, less so for men, and with the usual weak range of sizes on location. They must use some sort of odd formula that dates back to a thinner, shorter America raised on hard little baby shoes. They have no men's 10E at all, which is not that unusual a size. I know DSW carries this size because online I can easily find it. The brick and mortar stores are useful to come in and see the shoes, but if you have a wide, narrow, small or large size you're not going to go home with a pair of shoes from here. Since this is Western Michigan where there seems to be some sort of heavily enforced law that all salespeople be nice, the salespeople here are nice.

Alright let's embark on the magical adventure that is Aldi!…read more First let me say that this is the best Aldi that I've been in. The one on 24th street is good. But it lacks the size and overall selection that this one has. I try to buy as much as possible off my list here. Prices are always better than normal grocery. We buy 30-35 items every time we're here and haven't spent more than $60. If you're new to Aldi there are some things you should know. One of the biggest is to bring a quarter for the carts. You get the quarter back though. Another is that you should bring your own bags. They have bags here but you do have to pay a small price. Another thing about this Aldi in particular is that I always run into staff that are knowledgeable about the store and where to find things. I will continue to do as much shopping here as I can and I encourage you, your friends, your dog, and your friends dog to do the same.
