On the other hand, it is a dark store - the darkest Schnucks I've been in - it has a very small (and not very good looking) selection of produce, and even though I made 2 passes around the store I could never find bacon! Actually, I did find the good bacon at their little butcher counter, but it was kind of dark looking and I wasn't about I try that! The rest of the meats looked great, but I wonder why there is no tenderloin, filets, or Angus to choose from. The produce was shabby, embarrassingly so. The onions were all smooshy and yucky looking with fruit flies all over and around them, the fresh corn was dried out, and the fresh green beans were browning. This Schnucks needs work!
