This one is located in the Fort Drum rest stop. Sunshine Market provides an alternative to waiting on the long food court lines. The Markets are clean and bright. At the entrance is their seasonal table currently filled with winter and Christmas decorations. Inside the front of the market is a coffee station, hot sandwiches, a cooler with prepared cold sandwiches, Lunchables, yogurt, and hummus. Further inside is a large cooler with drinks. There is a huge wall with every kind of snack food you can think of. I'm a fan of the Sweet Chaos Drizzled Popcorn but you can shop their extensive selection of chips, pretzels, dried fruit, nuts, crackers, and candy. They also sell phone accessories, souvenirs, toys, and have a handy aisle with drugstore items. The headache medicine has been a lifesaver in a pinch. Sunshine Market has a vast selection of items in a small footprint. Prices are a little higher than your typical convenience store but it is much faster to get what you need here and get back on the road rather than search for a store at an exit. I only wish they were open 24 hours or at least later. If it is the middle of the night you are out of luck. They shut down every day at 7 PM.

If you're looking for a market that's something like Whole Foods , look no further than Sprouts!!…read more I was so excited to find this market here in Melbourne. When I visit here I'm usually very hard pressed to find a selection of organic, healthy ready made foods, great produce , kombucha choices and a good variety of my usual staples of high protein low carb ,vegetarian and even some vegan dairy items for other friends and family. I have been here for two weeks and been to Sprouts three times!! They had the best peaches I've had in past memory. For family members I found balsamic glazer cherry salmon with roasted vegetables ready to simply bake, which we did and they loved. Not as much of a selection of vegetarian ready to eat sandwiches or meals as I would have expected. But there was a delicious apple quinoa pumpkin seed and kale side salad that I couldn't stop eating. Lovely selection of baked goods, gluten free, vegan and for the rest of us just regular! Excellent service from really friendly and helpful staff. Well worth stopping in

Some may not remember this but years ago, Brevard County had quite a few options when it came to…read morealternative groceries. On US-192 in Melbourne, we had Lucky's. On Murrell Rd. up in Rockledge, we had Earth Fare. And of course there are the constant rumors of finally having a Whole Foods here. But for some reason, what we had just suddenly closed. We did have local alternative groceries, which I am thankful for, but I know a larger alternative grocery would provide more options. Ergo, I am happy Sprouts decided to open here in Melbourne, FL, especially since I got to experience them in Tampa because my sister is a regional manager for their personal health department. Located on Hollywood Blvd., in the same plaza as LA Fitness Palm Bay, Sprouts is a stand-alone store that provides many of the same options both Lucky's and Earth Fare had. They have all the typical grocery departments including a bakery, deli, produce, personal health, and such. They do have an ambiance similar to our local Downtown Produce and the Thrifty Produce located in Rockledge on Eyester Blvd. For example, above their milk and diary wall, their signage is framed within a dairy farm setting. Other sections have old-time farmer's market signage above them complete with corrugated metal roofing and treated wood panels. Much of the base grocery is alternative healthier choices from what mainstream groceries provide. However, what stands out are their produce, meat and deli, and bakery. Everything is made fresh, and most are in-house. They provide freshly-squeezed juices, fresh-cut veggies and fruits, and pre-made meals that you can take home and cook. My personal favorite section is the personal care section, which provides alternative personal care and health options that actually work, from what I see. I definitely like the CBD gummies that provide sleep. There is much more to explore when I eventually go back here to Sprouts. For now, I am going to give the store a four out of five stars. They have everything you may want in an alternative grocery. The prices may be a little high, but that seems to be the case when it comes to quality. That is why Publix prices are usually higher than places like Walmart or Food Lion and so on. If this Sprouts remains consistent on their four-star quality and service on average (I'll give them a bad day or two), then they'll earn their fifth star for consistency.

Publix has become the leading name in the supermarket field here in the southeast. Once you…read moreexperience a Publix supermarket yourself, I am confident that you will understand how Publix has become such an iconic supermarket brand and has developed such a loyal customer base down here in the southeast. Publix has created a solid reputation by offering incredible customer service, great BOGO (buy one, get one free) deals and we cannot forget their subs, which are affectionately known as "Pub Subs." Coming from New Jersey, a state known for their great subs, in a way it hurts me to state that a supermarket has some of the best subs in the area. But it is also a 100% true statement. Publix subs are very good. My go-to sub is probably their Italian sub, which is truly a tasty offering. I also enjoy their roast beef and cheese sub. I would definitely recommend upgrading it by using Boar's Head meat. It is definitely worth the small upcharge. It is great to see Publix expanding beyond the boundaries of their home state of Florida and spreading throughout the southeast. Not only am I happy about it, but I am confident that the communities that Publix opens a location in are very grateful for a Publix opening by them. I would definitely recommend this particular Publix location or any Publix location and I give it five stars.

Can't do better than that, really. Not sloppy. Just perfect and fresh. Added some Pringles, carrot sticks with hummus, and a coffee and it cost soooo much less than dining out for dinner. We had a great seat at Royal Palm Point overlooking the lagoon and enjoying the breeze. Thank you Publix Deli on 53rd Street! (Oh, I brought my own coffee).

Publix at Cypress Bay - prices at this location were slightly higher than nearby Publix stores…read morebased on my observation. The store is clean, with wide aisles and a well-organized layout that makes shopping easy. However, the ready-made meal area had a pretty limited selection for vegetarians. While there were plenty of employees around, many were stocking shelves and unintentionally blocking aisles and shelves, which made it hard to navigate at times. I appreciated that several checkout lanes were open, so the wait was minimal. That said, my cashier and bagger didn't say much beyond a quick hello--definitely not rude, but not particularly welcoming either. Overall, the store has potential, and was interesting to shop at.

**INITIAL REVIEW**…read more Over the last couple of years, there has been an expansion of Palm Bay, as more homes and businesses are being built heading south on Babcock St. Before, Grant-Valkeria was the "southern border" for Palm Bay pertaining to residential and commercial, but thanks to the Heritage Pkwy. exit on I-95, there is more of an initiative to build in the area. As for the first official commercial business, we live in Florida so it had to be a classic Florida business, and what better business than a Publix. Now that the newest Publix is now open, and though it is a bit advantaged for them, they just happen to be "better" than other Publix Super Markets as they are 1.) new and 2.) implementing all the new features and attributes of Publix Super Markets built today. Though an address is given, Publix Super Market (which I will shorthand simply to Publix for the remainder of the review) is located in the outdoor shopping strip known as Shoppes at Cypress Bay. It is currently the only business in the shopping strip if you do not include the Publix Liquors store next door. I was able to check out Publix just days after it opened so everything, as mentioned earlier, is brand, spankin' new. If you know anything about grocery stores, then you know that Publix follows the basic setup most have with some customizations given preference and space. Upon entering through the entrance doors on the right side of the storefront, you'll notice the customer service desk is "in-wall" and not the circular island which was used from their previous batch of stores. Going counter-clockwise, the deli is an island kitchen utilizing all four sides for certain services including their iconic subs, sushi, hot food, soup, and deli cuts. Continuing counter-clockwise, the produce section is followed by the meat market. Along the back wall are basic fridge needs like milk, eggs, and such. Bakery is in the back-left corner of the store. Alcohol is on the left side of the store, then the pharmacy is in the front-left of the store. Of course checkout, including more self checkout registers are up front. Basic grocery goods are, of course, along the aisles. The frozen food section is on the left side of the store, too. Just like other Publix stores, the prices are a bit higher compared to other groceries and businesses of a like nature. But the quality you have for all of the "groceries bought on the outer ring/sides" of the store are tantamount compared to others. That is why Pub Subs are highly sought out compared to your typical sub at any sub sandwich shop. Okay, I admit that the aisle groceries are expensive compared to other places, too, and I will say that if it is not necessary to get it at Publix, it is better to go elsewhere, unless it is a BOGO sale item. The one added features that I had never got to experience until now are the Publix Liquors which is technically a separate business from the super market itself, and the upstairs dining area that provides a seating area for patrons to enjoy meals purchased in the grocery. They provide microwaves, disposable silverware, and condiments to make your meal more enjoyable. And on a sidenote, the restroom was clean. Not Buc-ee's standards, but still good. Ultimately, the fact this Publix is new and has the benefits of being new grant favor for the business. Ergo, four out of five stars. The business they provide is following a pattern and formula set from previous Publix Super Markets, and this new one is following it quite well, too.
