Hurricane Milton caused me to evacuate from the West coast to Vero Beach…read more The day after the storm passed, the entire area was 75% without power, and this Publix was one of the very few businesses open. I got there around 7:00pm and they were slammed! The deli counter ran out of bread, so they could only make wraps. The hot deli counter was putting out large trays of grab-and-go popcorn chicken every 10 minutes or so. Shoppers snatched them up FAST, as they were the only hot food option available and also just happened to be on a BOGO sale! So BRAVO to this Publix! All of the staff here worked very hard to help make the nearby post-hurricane crowd less miserable!

The big problem with this store that is annoying are they allow their employees outside in front of…read morethe store to smoke and vape, it is so nasty all the smoking by them as you walk along the sidewalk or going into or out of this store. They really need to send them to the back of the building, it does not look good for this store. Too many smokers and smoke. Publix has this problem at many of their stores, it is completely disagreeable. Too, this store has higher prices than the Publix at other locations, which really bugs me. I wish they would be the same in all in a county, stop that game of making prices more in some areas if they have a higher income bracket. As well, this store is old, it does not have any self-checkout lanes and you normally have to wait a long time in line to pay. They really need to improve the shopping experience at this Publix, it is not pleasurable, the smoke when you walk in and out, the higher prices, and the long check-out lines as they do not have self-checkout here. I like Publix BOGO's, they have some good stuff and deals, but their service and employees have declined a great deal over the years and they do not take good care of their customers like they used to, Shopping is not at all pleasurable here anymore. They need to get rid of the smoking, it is against the law and customers should not have to inhale the smoke when they come in and out of the store, it is not allowed on the sidewalks so close to doorways by law.

Even though CVS and Target are separate entities, the pharmacy is located within the store…read more Regrettably, CVS bought out all of the Target Pharmacies. I have been a customer of Target/CVS Pharmacy, dating back to August 2009. As with any place of business, there is the "Good, the Bad, and the Ugly." Collectively, my encounters with the CVS Pharmacy have gone well at the Target in Vero Beach. The Pharmacy Manager, Brian, has always been very diligent, careful, and professional in ALL of my interaction(s) with him Even though, the pharmacy within Target is operated very efficiently, I am concerned about Brian's professional well-being. Honestly, I cannot count on one hand, the amount of times I have witnessed Brian having proper support in the pharmacy. In closing, Brian is one of the best Pharmacists I have ever dealt with in my time as an adult. However, the CVS upper regional management needs to afford Brian adequate assistance in order to both maintain and sustain the high quality of service at the CVS in Target on 58th/20th. Great Job, Brian! Keep your chin up and keep on "chopping wood!"

But I was pleasantly surprised about the variety of well-priced products, produce, and an excellent floral department with gorgeous bouquets (even a pre-made diaper cake for a girl - I never saw that before). Their bakery department was pretty nice and varied with well-priced, delectable sweets as well. They have a nice spread of products throughout and their check-out people were so nice and friendly. I docked a star because I absolutely hate when an aisle hs two labels for products (very beginning and very end) because it makes it confusing to find things. This wasted my time yesterday and earlier today. But I like this location and would be happy to return.

A very busy Dollar Tree located in Vero Beach on the southwest corner of 27th Avenue and Oslo. Tons of parking, with handicapped directly in the front of the business. Staff are generally friendly and the place has plenty of items for a dollar. I've never visited for "anything special" - it's just usually movie candy on the way to a local theater. More often than not, the place is a mess with stock carts blocking your path. Not "dirty" messy - more of a cluttered look with varying shelves that are empty needing to be restocked. This Dollar Tree does not have gender neutral restrooms. No general complaints - it's a Dollar Store. You know what you're buying when you buy it. Bill Lewis Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
