The lady working there was very nice and showed me the Tasty Kake Chocolate Cupkcakes that I asked about. I bought the last 4 boxes and Nature's Own Buttertop Bread with a few other items. The prices were incredible with great savings over Publix, Winn Dixie, and even the nearby Aldis. The last was patient and helped me even tho they were almost closed. I would definitely recommend the store. I live in Lake Worth but still am driving up there to stock up because her prices were that good.

Morris who started out by selling their products in the Philadelphia area. Morris's wife came up with the Tastykake name and a Boston student created the Tastykake logo. The company adopted the slogan, "The Cake That Made Mother Stop Baking." Until 1941 the cakes were delivered by horse and wagons and limited to cities. This changed during WWII when TastyKake sent out their snacks all over the world to deployed soldiers. The company expanded and in 2011 was sold to Flowers Food. I found this TastKake outlet while out and about in Port St. Lucie. Normally I tend to stay away from this kind of food due to it's high fructose corn syrup and hydrogenated vegetable oil but it's a pandemic and nothing is more comforting than something that reminds you of your childhood like a TastyKake. They had a selection of Nature's Own Bread for only 99 cents. Bread is one of the items that is sold out in my local stores. Cereal was an amazing 3 for $6. Besides the usual selection of Tastykake pies, cakes, brownies, donuts, and danishes they also carry chips, crackers, Welch's fruit snacks, and other pantry items. My favorite TastyKake is the Butterscotch Krimpet first created in 1927. A box was only $1.33 and aren't too terrible at 220 calories. I am also a fan of the Coconut Juniors. While a TastyKake isn't a health food, I will be enjoying my Butterscotch Krimpets, in moderation of course.

Tonight I confronted the manager in duty about yet another dog in the store. He was completely oblivious to the fact there was a dog in his store, and wanted to know why I was upset and why someone didn't tell him a dog was in the store. No apologies, just deflection, like it's my job to let him know what the fuk is happening in his store. Bet he's a lazy joy to work for. Hire people that actually have a mild inclination as to what working and responsibility means and not lazy do nothings. I can't blame the three employees that walked past the lady with her dog because they have no example of conscious leadership to follow.

They have an amazing nursery just full of every kind and size of plant you can imagine. All of this is very well organized, and they answered all of my questions. Believe me, I ask a lot of questions. We bought three 25 gallon "Christmas Palm Trees" and they promptly came out to our home and planted them. What a difference this has made to our Sebastian experience! Gorgeous trees and an exceptional experience. We went back yesterday and shopped in their farm stand, which is a part of the nursery. We bought fresh corn still in the husks and delighted in their soft serve vanilla orange swirl orange ice cream. The offerings in both the farm stand and the nursery are too extensive to list, so you need to go there to see in person. They are in a rural part of the county just up 66th Avenue from 20th Street. The owners were both born and raised in Indian River County. They are extremely knowledgeable about everything they sell. The nursery and farm stand are on land that was owned and tended by the Peterson family since 1913. My wife and I so enjoy going there.

They have SCW's small chocolates from Italy which she was excited to see in the states. The store is on the small side but not difficult to get around. They have on the south wall a decent selection of wines and champagnes. Some pretty high quality labels. The middle of the market has things like glasses, cutting boards, some more wines and various other kitchen items. All looked to be of high quality. The north end of the market has a fridge/freezer section and a meat, cheese and deli counter. They have some meals for 2 advertised on the board above but keep in mind they are frozen, which didn't really work for us. But they do have plant based options which is nice. The employees are busy but are happy to help you if you need anything. Overall a good experience but knowing a little about wine, the prices are a bit more than I'd pay for the wines I saw.

I'm not afraid to say that lately, when patronizing small businesses, this seems to be the norm and it's not a good feeling. When I parked in front of Van's Asian Market, I said a little prayer to myself..."please let them be nice." NO SOONER THAN I STEPPED OVER THEIR ENTRY THRESHOLD, I felt warm, comfortable and welcome. I was immediately greeted by the sweetest woman. Turns out she was the owner alongside her husband, Van. The owners deserve their flowers for making this a nice place to shop where you feel welcome and not like you're bothering them. I witnessed them talking to their customers, answering questions, making suggestions and even if they didn't have an item, they inquired about it to see if they may potentially stock it. Today, I felt like an appreciated customer. The owners were very polite, and helped me with ingredients to add to what I wanted to make. They suggested items, smiled, and even gave me a little history of the store. I LOVED THAT PART!!! I was able to find what I needed and a few other things I didn't even know I needed. Lol! Mr. Van and the Mrs. showed me items that would make my soup taste more authentic. I came in for 2 items! $63, and multiple items later, I drove away feeling like I'd made new friends. I've found my new Asian Market in PSL and I'm absolutely elated.
