I was able to find a pair of shoes for my son, which was exactly what we needed at the time, and the price was reasonable, though I wouldn't necessarily call it a standout deal. On the positive side, the staff were friendly, and the checkout process was smooth and efficient. I'll definitely visit again in the future to see if my experience was simply a matter of timing, as inventory and organization can vary from one visit to the next.

I am 73 years old with diabetes, two and two hip replacements many times are rely upon a shopping cart for Support today when I was shopping after paying for the purchases, I took the cart out of the store as I use it for Support. I hadn't gotten too far when I heard scream screaming behind me and turned around to look to see it was Dollar General employee assaulting me with the fact that I was not to take the cart out of the store naturally I responded back. I left the cart close by in their proximity to only find that as I was walking back, I was stopped by two police cruisers, this dollar general employee had reported me to the police that I had taken their cart of which was absolutely not true. The police could very well see that I only had the two shopping bags with me and that the cart has been left where it was supposed to. Not only did I call their corporate and make a complaint to which they documented and said that their district manager would be calling, but I also contacted an attorney if you can imagine the humiliation of being trespassed and banned from their crappy little store. Nowhere is there any policy stating what their cart return is on either signage in the store or on the receipt. Fortunately, we have many choices and Dollar General is not one of them.
