Almost all the employees at Dollar General at 1114 Radio Rd, are very rude, and ignore the customers. They act like they don't want to help. When you call, they ask your name, but won't give their's. None of them wear name tags, and they all act like they are family relatives of each other, from the worst ghetto section of the trailer park. I came in there the around 3:45 on 5-11-24, and there were 2 girls behind the counter, but only one register was open. There was a very long line. One girl was checking, and the other was just standing aeound behind the checker, talking very, very loudly about an inappropriate story involving some guy that peed her off. The story seemed to also be connected to the female checker. The story-teller-trailer-trash employee was mainly talking to some guy who was leaning on the gate beside the counter exit near the front door. He had a long black, greasy ponytail, and a goatee. I had seen him in there hanging around numerous times. I think he's dating one of the female employees. But the loudmouthed employee was continuing to tell this inappropriate story, but she wasn't doing any work. Just telling this story out loud to this guy, and pretty much the entire store. And the other female checker was adding some details to the story here and there. And the other trashy girl was getting herself agitated telling how "this guy (in the story) had peed her off'. And what she did, etc. And apparently the guy in the story was the boyfriend, or ex-boyfriend of the checker. Because the trashy checker would chime in about the subject to correct the details. And then the other trashy employee who was talking loudly to the ponytail guy, (and apparently the rest of us, judging how loudly she was talking), almost started cursing. She stopped herself and said, "I better not say what I was gonna say". And the other trashy employee checker said "yeah, cuz there's customers in here". When I got to the checker, I was giving her some change (coins), and she acted like it was annoying her. She wanted me to dump my coins in her hands and let her count them. Which was unacceptable. There was a line, but only because they would not open another register, and were just standing around talking and telling very inappropriate stories. So the checker said, "here's a dollar", and the trailer trash story teller said "THANK YOU "! (very loudly to her coworker/friend) as if to say, that waiting for customers to count out change annoys her, and she was glad her trashy cohort ended my right to use change, rather than wait for me. I felt that loudmouth had a lot of nerve, seeing that she was just standing around telling trashy stories, not doing anything to help check out customers, but only chiming in with her unwarranted comment on my payment method. Then my son came next behind me to make a purchase. And the checker acted annoyed with him when he was counting change. After the purchase we both thanked the checker, but she did not reply, and only rolled her eyes at us. And as we walked out, the loudmouth story teller and the ponytail guy who was hanging around listening to her redneck, trashy story, gave us both dirty looks as we walked out. I decided Monday to call and report it to the store manager. On Monday 5-13-24, at 3:10 pm, I called and some woman with an attitude answered the phone. I asked if the manager was in. She asked what my name was?? I said I'm a customer, what's YOUR name? And she hung up on me. This place is pure garbage. Run by rude, nasty, and aggressive trash! This should not be allowed!
