I told him I did not buy any bulghur, only masri rice and bulk chick peas listed at 0.49c/lb. The owner heard me and rushed over. The chick peas are not 49 cents he stated. "That was a sale and the sale ended yesterday." I said well if the sale ended, then remove the sign that says 49cents/lb. He answers "Ma Bady" meaning I don't want to. Instead of being worried that his cashier was charging me an additional $3 that he may be pocketing, he is arguing over a few cents in the cost of the chick peas. This owner needs a lesson in customer service.

Their meat especially is top quality. There is no better meat market around. What really sets them apart however is their customer service. From the moment I walk in, I'm always greeted by the cashiers. And the butchers will answer 1000 questions to make sure the customer is satisfied. I really appreciate excellent customer service when I see it, and that's definitely what you will receive here! I merely mentioned to my guy with the blue eyes that I was going to put my meat on skewers - he went ahead & did it for me without even mentioning it. I didn't realize it until later. That's real.
