You may save some money shopping here, but you won't save time. From the crowds of people inside who omit the distinct odor of cat urine, cigarette smoke, and body odor, to the long painful and frustrating wait to check out, its truly a unique shopping experience that you'll likely never forget. Imagine this scenario, you need just a handful of items, such as cat food and paper towels. You decide to venture to the Conneaut Dollar General because you really don't have a choice unless you want to drive to the west side of town. So, you pull into the awkward parking lot and begin your shopping experience. As you approach the door, the foul odor of other patrons begins to appear. At first, you'll likely think that some dog shit on the side walk right outside the door three days ago and never bothered to clean it up, we'd be lucky if that was the case, but it isn't. Once you enter the building the odor will cause you to breathe though your mouth ( if you don't there are plastic bags you can puke in just inside the door). You'll tell yourself that you're just gonna be in and out quickly and it'll all be over soon, after all, you're only getting a few items. Once you manage to get whatever it was you went there for, you'll make a mad dash through the store, swiftly passing people who wear clothes that they think fits them, but in reality doesn't (warning: be ready to cover the eyes of young children if they're present). By now you're likely gonna believe that you're almost out of there, until you come up to the single open register that has a 7 person line and all of which have shopping carts full of stuff. After about 5 minutes in line, the sight of people who dress how they think their body looks, instead of what it actually is, combined with the foul odor of cat urine, body odor, and cigarette smoke, you may experience nausea and frustration to the point when you'll set your stuff down and leave. Leaving empty handed and disoriented. You'll then end up driving to at least the other end of town, regretting the fact that you didn't just do it to begin with.
